I've been lurking for a while, not really posting, but I have a question that I couldn't seem to find anywhere. I am going to Carowinds tomorrow, but I am going to have to pay for parking because nobody in my group has a pass, including me. Can we leave the parking lot after we have paid then come back without having to pay for parking again? I have never had to deal with this before because it is the first time I have ever been to a Cedar Fair park without a gold/platinum pass and without my parents there to pay for everything. Forgive me if this has been asked before, I searched but did not find anything on this. Thank you!

Phenomenal, minor pain (due to the vibration towards the rear of the train, nowhere near unbearable,) and my only B&M hyper.

I have also witnessed piles of change floating through the air on Diamondback. One time I rode it and my contact lens case and a little eye dropper bottle of contact solution floated right out of my pocket on the drop before the first helix. Very surreal.

On a more positive note, yesterday I did witness from Coolangatta Racer two individuals escorted out of Boomerang Bay by security and loaded in the back of a police cruiser, reasoning unknown to me. At least they are capable of something. I seriously doubt it was line jumping though.

Invertigo's loop. That thing pulls some serious g's! Vortex's double loop is a close second. I always gray out in it.

I'm confused. Do the 6 visits have to be used by the same person or can you split them up with other people?

On Friday my girlfriend and I were riding FoF and as we hit the final bunny hop she exclaimed, "OMG they put the last loop back in!" I gave her the weirdest look. I tried to convince her that they never took the corkscrew out last year and she didn't believe me, telling me to ask KIC about it... If she sees this I'm dead...

I waited a little over an hour from when they let the gold pass holders through nick universe. We got there early and got a good spot in line.

If you saw a lifeguard with shaggy dark brown hair and black Vans that was probably me. Yesterday was my first day lifeguarding there.

Corkscrew at Cedar Point in 2006. I got a late start. I was terrified of coasters and terrified of anything that went upside down, but after riding Corkscrew, followed by Raptor and Mantis the same day, I was hooked!

Thanks for the quick replies! I ask cause we are planning to go to CP twice this summer, and we realized it would be cheaper to just buy a platinum pass than it would be to buy a gold pass, a 2 day ride and slide pass for CP and pay the parking fee twice, plus we get the ERT.

My girlfriend bought a gold pass for the '09 season this past fall but now she wants to upgrade it to a platinum pass. Is this even possible, or do we not even know at the moment?

I really don't mind when people call rides by their old names, I still often do it myself. That's just habit, but its all the "You know how many people have died on this ride?" comments and the like that irritate me.
