I saw a show about that hotel. It's called Burj Al Arab. They used Peregrin falcons to scare away other birds. That hotel looks awesome, though!!!

Dominator isn't suspended, but yeah your legs dangle so it's kinda like one. But I agree I've never ridden Dominator, but it looks like it can't compare to Raptor. I would actually prefer to have a B&M invert over a floorless.

They're also lengthening Vortex by a few dozen miles and adding 925 more inversions!

My friends tried to pull this trick while in line for Action FX at Fear Fest last year. I proceeded to be a jerk and didn't let them.

I'm almost positive KI was considered the flagship Paramount park. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the reason Canada's Wonderland had the highest attendance and revenue of the Paramount parks was that it was so close to Toronto, which is a much bigger city than Cincinnati or Dayton. It had a higher local population.

I'm going to Cedar Point with my dad and 2 friends on the 18th and 19th of this month. Probably staying at Breakers Express. Can't wait to go. It'll be my second time at the Point.

I saw that new poster on the side of Paramount Theater in the process of being put up on Monday while I was working.

If you are REALLY lucky, you could get all of the major rides in on one day. When I went last September with my marching band, we only stayed maybe four hours and I got on all of the major coasters easily except for Millennium Force, TTD, and Wicked Twister. (I could have ridden them, but I was scared ) The longest I waited was maybe 15 minutes for Gemini, and they were only running one track with I think just one train. Again we got lucky, and it was a Sunday in September.

Dominator looks great and all, but I'd much rather get something original and unique. I really want to see a shiny new B&M hyper with a layout kind of mixing up a hyper-twister and a traditional air-time filled hyper. As twisty as the two Giovanola hypers but as much air time as Goliath at SFOG.

Drop Zone is the only ride that I screamed like a little girl on. The one time I rode it I let out a high pitched shriek when you were dropped! I probably will still ride it again though.

I would kill to have seen that!

I was second in line for FoF today during the storm when the train got stuck halfway into the station. The workers had to literally push the train the rest of the way into the station until the brakes engaged. Afterwards everyone clapped. It was funny to watch.

I agree, it's very unlikely we see any new stand-ups anytime soon, but I would be thrilled if we got one. Mantis at Cedar Point is the only stand-up I've ridden, but I loved it. Anyway, my suggestion for TR is to maybe paint the outside of the building to fit in with the theming of rivertown. I don't know how they could do it so it fits in with both the western theme of rivertown and the jungly theming of the ride itself. If they maybe painted it light brown with vines on the sides it would at least be less of an eyesore.

Definitely the loop. It feels completely different from a normal sit down loop.

1:15 not a bad wait for me.

I rode it today. Even with 1 train, I only waited an 1:15. Got on the line at 6:30, rode at 7:45. But man that ride was absolutely incredible!!! The loop is definitely the best part. I sat in the fifth car, after you slow down on the loop you get whipped through the rest of it. It's pretty intense. Definitely worth a three hour wait if there was one. The T-shirt's nice too.

Coasters: 1. Flight of Fear 2. Vortex 3. The Beast 4. Face/Off 5. Top Gun (Never ridden SoB or Firehawk/X-Flight, but I'm sure one or both will make the list.) Flats: 1. Delirium 2. Tomb Raider 3. Xtreme Skyflyer 4. Drop Zone 5. Eiffel Tower
