Scooby is an Icon! The Flintstones aren't ''big'' anymore and sadly Hanna-Barbera is no more they merged with Warner Bros. But you knew this..Besides Scooby-Doo has always been a hit with kids and adults.If I had to pick between Snoopy and Scooby for the kiddieland's new theme guess who I would pick. I remember when I was little and seeing Scrappy-Doo theming at Kings Island you don't see that anymore but I understand what your saying I miss Scooby-Doo already and the season hasn't started.BTW which reminds me, anyone see the new Scrappy-Doo meet and greet character that six flags Texas has? I was shocked to see him roam the park with Shaggy and Scooby-Doo!

Keiko_coaster I'm like you I've loved the ocean and wanted to work at SeaWorld when I ''Grew up'' it's not gonna happen for me.. anyway make your dream come to pass you sound so passionate! My two-cents on this terrible news as a SeaWorld junkie I found this hard to take I always visit SeaWorld heck,I prefer it to Disney and Universal!!! My heart and prayers go out to the family. Such a tragedy.

Scooby-Doo! & The Haunted Castle will NOT be themed around Peanuts... WOW! I figured I would be let down by Cedar Fair yeah that news is disheartening.

It's going to be hard to take the kids to Kings Island this year! I already miss Scooby and The Nicktoons! If anything I hope it's a store.

Spongebob 3D may be leaving but you can still ride it at other parks even at the cincinnati zoo!

I'm gonna be honest the only thing I'm looking forward to in 2011 is The Smurfs Movie. Laugh all you want but it's true as for 2012 I'm looking forward to Disney opening up the new fantasy land at WDW's magic kingdom I wanna ride the new little mermaid attraction! Now as for Kings Island I don't think we will see another coaster for a while. I say this because CF is in the red and pending they don't get sued again ( A lot of people don't like this Apollo merger!)I just can't see Kings Island getting a massive coaster anytime soon. You obviously feel that Kings Islnnd should not donate to chairty and that they should instead pay more taxes. You want the government, not sick children, to receive these resources. That makes you a piece of garbage, sir. And your comments about free speech are even worse, if that's even possible. You refer to political protest as a "sleazy measure" that "result(s)in less tax payments to the City of Mason." Then you assert that people who oppose taxation without representation (remember 1776?)don't really understand how taxes work and should not leave their homes for entertainment. Well sir, this country has something called a Constitution, perhaps you should google that. We have every right to protest things we do not agree with, which is something you obviously despise. You would have fit in well in Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia. As for your accusation that I am prejudiced, I proudly admit that I am prejudiced against people who hate children and who want to take away my Constitutional rights. You obviously fall into both of those categories which is why I am not surprized that after your speech at Council last night, you ran out of that room like a scared little girl. Unlike some of you I was alive when it opened I remember that summer that ride was massive I waited in a 2hr + line with my parents and little brother,cousins to ride it.Good times and the ride still gets really busy to this day and that proves the rides awesomeness.

This is the best news I've heard all day! I wanted to come out and help support Kings Island but I was swamped with work and personal things! I wanted this tax to die and I got what I wanted! Take that Tom Grossmann and councilman Tony Bradburn! WE the people have spoken!

Woodstock theme? I was told it may get a Snoopy vs The Red Baron theme.I'm gonna miss Reptar badly but the coaster's new theme will be just as good I guess if your kids like peanuts. Very Cool! I hope I will be able to get me a Woodstock plushie for my little girl! I'm a Die-hard Scooby-Doo fan (As is you didn't know!) and while I'm very bitter cause scooby-doo is gone I do love snoopy he was a part of my childhood in the 1980s.

I like Spongebob Squarepants! But he isn't cooler or better than Scooby-Doo! or The Smurfs! I love Looney Tunes and am happy Cartoon Network is showing them again!

I have see many,many,many people kicked out of KI I've seen people drunk wanting to get on SoB.I've seen ''stoners'' get kicked out of KI i've also seen couples making out in lines getting thrown out. I remember one time I think it was in 2001.. My friends and I went to McDonalds after a fun filled day at Kings Island and a huge fight broke out in the parking lot it was insane and utter chaos!

What Awful News! So sad ! He really did keep the dream alive.
