Carowinds
I don't remember for certain but I believe they do.

Roundup
Hopefully they'll replace it with something good. It does appear that at least one company still makes that type of ride ("Zero Gravity" from Battech Enterprises) but I'd be surprised to see it replaced with the same type of ride.

Cedar Point offering Gold Pass for 2020
The day many have wanted has finally arrived. Cedar Point is now offering a Gold Pass for next year, good for admission at both CP and CP Shores, with free parking and 30 minutes early entry to both parks (compared to 1 hour for Platinum passholders and resort guests). Current price is $99. https://www.cedarpoint.com/tickets-passes/season-passes

Roundup
That's a shame. I loved that ride. Any particular reason why it was removed?

Michigan's Adventure Adds Camp Snoopy for 2020!
If it's anything like Camp Snoopy at Carowinds it should be a great addition. Camp Snoopy doesn't beat KI's Planet Snoopy in terms of ride offerings, but the theming and layout is awesome.

Dorney Park 2020
New multi-level interactive water attraction, Seaside Splashworks, coming next year. https://www.dorneypark.com/blog/2019/august/dorney-park-2020-capital-project

Silver Dollar City 2020
There's more than what can be seen in that picture. The entire ride is supposed to last about 5 1/2 minutes and there's a "mine shaft" in there somewhere as well.

Silver Dollar City 2020
This picture on the park's website gives a much better idea of what the drop will actually look like.

Silver Dollar City 2020
Looks like an awesome attraction but I agree that the drop looks ridiculously steep in that image, especially for what's being called a family ride. I also love the records they come up with for these new rides - this time "tallest drop on a raft ride in the western hemisphere". This beats out the current record holder by 9 feet (Infinity Falls at SeaWorld Orlando, which just opened in October of last year).

Dorney Park 2020
Looks like KI isn't going to be the only CF park making a big announcement on Thursday... With the removal of Stinger last year (and the recent closure of Dinosaurs Alive, which I believe was pretty close to Stinger), could this point to Dorney finally getting a new (non-relocated) coaster for the first time in over a decade?

Cincinnati’s Coney Island to end Fall-O-Ween
WCPO just had a story on about this. Apparently attendance was pretty low - they said they weren't even seeing very high attendance among passholders who get a free ticket to the event. There's nothing on WCPO's website about it yet though.

Carowinds adding parade to Winterfest
This is making me seriously consider a trip to Carowinds again later this year. I've got enough vacation time left that I could theoretically do it. It's just a matter of whether I want to drive to Charlotte that close to Christmas... Anyone know what the weather's like down there that time of year?

Decoding 2020
They're up to 1825 signatures on that petition now. It'll be fun to see how many it gets to before the announcement (or announcement of the announcement anyway)

HUGE announcement from BGW!
Here's the full announcement from ACE Mid-Atlantic.

HUGE announcement from BGW!
Definitely considering making a return trip to BGW next year... I'll have to see what other parks announce for next year as well

HUGE announcement from BGW!
Depending on what this turns out to be (among other factors), I might have to make a repeat Carowinds/KD/BGW trip next year...

Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas
Always thought taking a cruise would be fun. I might have to try that one of these days.

Cedar Point Observation Tower?
They had a rotating observation tower (similar to Carowinds' SkyTower) but it was knocked down in September of 2012.

Adventure Park accident
Charges have already been filed in relation to this incident... https://nypost.com/2019/07/15/six-charged-in-carnival-ride-tragedy-that-killed-2-in-india/

Carowinds testing mobile ordering
Interestingly enough the app currently only lets you pre-order pizza, but the burrito restaurant had a door labeled "mobile order pickup" or something similar.

Cedar Fair sees revenue increase 3% through July 4th weekend
Part of that might be due to the fact that we had so much rain early in the season. It'll be interesting to see what figures look like later in the year, now that the monsoon season seems to be over

No Trams
Here's a video from 1980 showing the trams. I'm not sure how much changed in the 20-something years between when this was shot and when they were discontinued, but it should give you a good idea.
