Screaming Demon
I rode the Demon at Camden Park. I must say it wasn't even the best ride there. The Big Dipper is the best ride at that park. Not to mention that with the Demon errr TunderBolt Express you have to walk 4 flights of stairs. "Ahhh yes, Camden Park, where the midways smell like a city landfill."

Fearfest 2005
I think they should use the que line for WWC as a haunt, because it is so long, dark, and very wooded. I think it would lend very well to a haunted path type attraction. Also they already have the gates in the middle so people could easily exit at the end and wouldnt have to go all the way to WWC. Just an idea, but look at it next time your in line.

Dumbest Rumors Ever Heard
When Opryland in Nashville TN closed, I bought some of the old signs they had. They were selling them in the gift shop because they were no longer stocking the gift shops with merchandise. Very depressing day at the park, because the seasson was about over for good.

7/23 short, hot visit
I would say quite a few, because it was extremely hot. They say the Heat Index was like 115 and today it is suppose to be hotter.

7/23 short, hot visit
I went on the 25th for the WinterFest announcement. Got to the park around 9:30, went to the Paramount Theater and once the announcement was over walked back to Beast and walked right on. Ended up leaving after that because it was to freaking hot. Left around 11:00. Anyone know why IJST was shut down that morning?

Dumbest Rumors Ever Heard
Just wondering what are some of the dumbest most far fetched rumors you have ever heard about PKI, other parks, or attractions?

Delirium Repairs Photos
I know that CP has already inspected MaXair to see if they might possibly have the same gear problem, but really what good will that do, because it is such a new ride. Honestly I could fab the gear and FedEx it quicker than what Huss has done so far. Lets put it on a plane and ship it. I guess they would rather do a transatlanctic crossing. Some of the interesting rumors I have heard. Delirium will not open till the middle of August and also they had to construct a road over around the camp ground to bring the part in because they cannot transport it throught the front of the park now that they are open. I honestly doubt that one, but who knows. Nothing suprises me any more.

If PKIcould change the type of coaster TG is,What?
I would settle for a B&M inverter like the one PCW has or something like Raptor. They are classic and give one of a heck of a ride.

Winterfest Returns!
Yeah prices have gone up, but then again so has the cost of admission during the years, a Reds Game, Bengals Games, and oh yeah Gas. Inflation has driven prices up for all goods not to mention the cost of labor has rissen too. Just a thought

Winterfest Returns!
Well Yes, it is the seasson of giving and I will be giving to PKI. Honestly I see what you are saying. I too remember Winterfest years back, but I have also found there to be a lack of Christmas themed events in the area since there has been no Winterfest. In reality the price is not that different when you compare it to the cost of going to the Columbus Zoo to see the lights. They charge around $20 and also make you pay for parking. I think the price is pretty reassonable and that it will be heavily attended. Then again thats just my opinion so take it for what little it is worth.

Who Attended the WinterFest Annoucement?
I was just curious how many members of the PKIC community attended the WinterFest annoucement today? I was there and I thought once again very nicely done, especially with the snow, Santa Clause, and of course Christmas Carols. Although Jeff seemed to be a little more focused on FearFest during parts of the presentation. With the Heat and Humidity I am ready for FearFest and WinterFest to get here.

Winterfest is Back!

Winterfest Returns!
They mentioned the other special attractions for the rest of the 2005 seasson. The Nick Celebration Parade, the ground breaking for Great Wolf Lodge is the middle of next month and that Fear Fest returns this year, Fun by day, Fright by Night. Other than that it was mainly focused on Winterfest. Very awesome event it is going to be.

Fearfest 2005
Hopefully they do bring back the fog and add the haunt zone like at CP and IOA. I was affraid FearFest might get cut or half done because of the decision to bring back Winterfest and using the extra time to gear up for it. We will see what truly happens. I hope they will make FearFest bigger because of the upcomming winterfest and with the addition of Great Wolf Lodge. The bigger the Fall and Winter attractions the more guests PKI can bring into the resort.

Construction on Great Bear Lodge
The lodge in Sandusky is amazing and the resturants they have are absolutely great. I wouldnt call it 5 star, more like 4 but still awesome. I hope they put the family style resturant in this one like the others have, because the food is great and very reassonable.
