FEARFEST
Pretty simple, to cut down on the lines give out the spead passes just like they are doing for hollow and fearstreet. The passes dont ruin the haunt like the continously moving line.

10/1 Visit
I thought the crowd looked big and the lines were large at times, but everything moved really fast for the crowd. I was impressed with the capacity of everything.

FEARFEST
The video of the path during the day was better than the actual experience during the night. The continous line ruins the entire thing because the line doesnt not continously move. Experience it with the continous line and the scense are ruined along with the pace of the entire haunt. They need to send groups of 6-8 through and the path will be brought back to glory, because they scenes were amazing. Please for gods sake get ride of the continious line aspect.

SOB closed for the season?
The roughness has never bothered me because I have been on much much much worse coasters, but I love the fact that PKI is going to retrack the extremely rough sections. Actions like this should show all of us that PKI knows they can do better with the SOB and that they will do whaterver it takes to get an almost flawless ride. I like the retracking, but new trains like Thunderhead's would be very nice.

FEARFEST
FearFest 05 First off the Fog was absolutely amazing! Headless Hollow: Had great potential and I think PKI did an excellent job with it. The fog through the bridges was intense, the themeing was great, and I think the fact that there were not a 1000 actors on it, you never knew where the next scare was coming from. Great concept and Good execution. (Side note, Jeff Siberet gets two thumbs up for handing out reservation passes ahead of schedule to cut the line down, nicely done. R.L. Stine's FearStreet: Has a great story throughout the entire house and actually follows throught with the whole story. Very freaky haunted house especially for the pics of the girl all over. Very cool house and unlike most houses around because it tells a story and is not just one unreleated scene after anohter. Nicely done. Circus of Horrors: is as good as always and the dot room was exceptional. Psycho Path: The biggest let down of the night. Absolutely pathetic with the continous line of people going through. Way to ruin a great haunt. Are we lost in the woods, nope just follow the massive line of people. Complete !!! Overall the fog was overly thick and the sliders and other charcters roaming the midways were great. Nicely done PKI. Nicely done and keep the fog coming. Cant wait to go back next week.

What park will get the next 4d coaster?
The original was a very flawed design and I doubt CP would go for it since they have their hands full with TTD. I would assume Six Flags would go for it because they love to take a chance with new coasters that may be prone to problems.

OpryLand
But sometimes canabalism is a good thing. For example a Dolly Park in Nashville would most likely pull away from SilverDollar City in Branson and also pull from Louisville and St.Louis areas. By entering a new market and pulling in new customers that are not familiar with the so called Dolly Brand, this would actually lead to a new market visiting DollyWood for the first time. This is just like the same reasson we who love PKI want to go visit other Paramount parks or even CP and other Cedar Fair parks for that matter.

Geuaga Lake !
The orginal plan is to get more people over to the Wildlife side. That is where the Hyper was inteded to go. I would agree that building it in the spot of the old water park would make sense, but they will need to eventually add a major coaster on the other side of the park.

Winterfest!
I remember WinterFest and yes skating on the fountain under the tower is amazing. I loved WinterFest. I love the fall and winter and thank goodness this year I get both FearFest and WinterFest to help celebrate these seassons.

Geuaga Lake !
The hyper will only come if they can get the local governments to agree on changing the height restriciton on the WildLife Side.

CAN everyone ever?
I dont care about other parks, because PKI is the only one for me..... Just a slight use of Sarcasim. The Opryland Post has done well for today. See if it lasts?

OpryLand
I hope Dolly and her girls work their magic and make a tremendous park in Nashville.

Hauntguy's Fearfest Preview
Well count me as one of the few or many, which ever it may be, that is interested in the Show. Good luck with all the footage.

OpryLand
The had recently opened a small park in 03, but it was a rushed decision and it turned out to be very poor. Only lasted till 05 and was shut down. Who knows what will happen with the theme park status of Nashville.

Geuaga Lake !
Yeah, sounded like SFWOA would be great, but leave it up to Six Flags to mess that up. Who would have thought.

Top Thrill Dragster!
I had seasson passes to CP the first year TTD was open. Well as I was watching the launch standing down by the cable house I wittnessed the cable snap. That was a very scary thing to wittness. Thank goodness I had already ridden TTD about 10 times before the big break down. The huge rocket coasters are prone to problems or they just have lots of bugs to get worked out. Still one hell of a ride

Geuaga Lake !
Yeah, but now the former WildLife side just seems dead with no animals and very few rides.

OpryLand
Yes Opryland Hotel is still there and it has gotten bigger. They expanded an entire new area with a river boat ride inside the new section. This is expansion was a few years ago. Still a great place to go stay for christmas. As for the remnants of the park, the white water canyon ride is still there. That is the rocks and channel are still there.

INTAMIN or B&M?
Yeah but in the early days of Mantis it would Castrate most men if they did not adjust the seat properly. B&M left out key information about the proper adjusting of the seat for men and CP got some lawsuits over various incidents with family jewels. One of the main reassons CP has decided to go with Intamin lately and let the other Cedar Fair parks build Beemers. All coaster companies have their mishaps. Some get press and some dont.

Hauntguy's Fearfest Preview
^ ^ ^ When do you plan on having the Show done?

OpryLand
I am curious how many people were ever at OpryLand in Nashville TN and how many people even know about OpryLand. Yes it was a park that was dedicated to Counrty music, but it also had some of the best shows and performances around. The talent in my opinon would rival what Disney has. Also OL had some amazing rides, Chaos, Screamin Delta Demon, Wabash Cannonball, The Hangman, and The Rockin Roller Coaster to name a few. Unfotunately this park met its demise and ended up as a mall like Cincinnati Mills. What a shame and what a loss....

CAN everyone ever?
I would love to see some more discussion about other parks. Besides talking about PKI, theres the occasional thread about HolidayWorld and Cedar Point. Unfortunately I am affraid most people would not be able to post in a forum that discussed the loss of a great park like OpryLand, because they were probably never there. So to see if I am right or not I will start a new thread. Let the fun or boredom begin

El Toro
Looks cool, but I wouldnt be surprised if Six Flags manages to screw it up somehow. Six Flags has a nack of screwing up a good thing. Oh and by the way, Disney has not proven that they can make a major thrilling coaster yet. Sorry, but IOA and USF has them blown out of the water on thrilling well themed coasters. EE at AK could be just something real pretty to look at and something not real thrilling to ride.
