  1. Why does that just look like a rollercoaster fanboy accident waiting to happen?
  2. tubaman replied to fan of beast's topic in Rumors
And in other news today, And in other news today, Sasquatch is seen at the SoB site.
  3. One more question... Where are you constructing this ride? 15-18 feet as metioned above seems very ambitious, though, I am in no way doubting your ability.
  4. Sounds like fun! Your going to have to go into detail an explain to me more about design, materials, and construction of the ride, as this is something that really intrest me.
  5. Well, Superman at the Chicago SF is the only flying coaster I have ridden. I must say, I enjoyed it very much, and I hope X-Flight is just as good, and hopefully better.
  6. Congrats to Maureen and Tim from me too! And as for the historical update...just goes to show who pwns the KI fansites.
  7. Well, a couple years ago, I went to Disney 2 days after Christmas. I didn't think it was that bad really. They still leave the decorations up, and they were great. Crowds, didn't seem that crowded. Maybe I didn't notice this because we worked the fastpass system extremely well. All in all, it was a great trip. I got to spend New Years Eve and the Grand Floridian, and it was magical.

I remember waiting 2 hours when they were building SoB to download a computer animated POV. And, for the King Cobra POV, that was the first time I've ever ridden it. My life is now complete.
  9. Yeah, but I tell them to cover it up. its a family environment, not Hooters! Not something Cedar Fair would want any part of, but who here likes the idea of a Hooters theme park? *slowly raises hand, while looking around the room to see if anybody else is.*
  10. It's tempting. We "collect" items for the tuba closet at school. I'm sure that if the oppurtunity rose, somebody in the tuba section would take it.
  11. Great photos as always. Any idea where the loop is now? Like, where is it being stored? Dismantled? Scraped? Merry Christmas!
  12. For some reason, although I can say I really haven't had the "old" Taco Bell, I like what they serve now. Maybe I just prefer lower quality foods. I can't stand to eat fat from a steak, but hamburger is pretty much my favorite meat. With CF buying Paramount, I hope to see many changes to the website. I always found it annoying that such great coasters like The Beast, fall second to IJ:ST in the amount of promotion it gets. At least CP's website has more than one photo of most of the coasters. I also like all the extras that CP's website has on it, like webcams and what-not.
  13. Took me a second, but I think I know what you mean now.
  14. I'd like to have one of those. I've ridden the Chaos at Cedar Point, and the one at Hershey Park. Very fun rides. Anyone wanna loan me $150,000.00?
  15. you my friend are on the right track But, what if the track he was on, just got removed from SoB?
  16. Actually, the swaying is needed for all structures. All tall buildings sway also. All bridges do as well. The real problem is when the swaying become too large or become too frequent. Ever been in the Empire State building? Stand agaisnt one of the walls on the 86th floor, you can feel the building swaying. (What fun on an 8th grade trip) Yea, I remember while looking up at Vortex one time when I was a child, and being afraid of it because of how much it shakes. (Right after the first drop there) Anyways, my mother then informed me that it was nessary for it to do so.
  17. ^Yea, Google Earth updated Charleston WV a few months ago. It was just a blur, but now I can clearly see my state's capitol and Yeager Airport. My hometown has always been very clear, and according to my friend, it was actually used as a test area for Google Earth.
  18. YEEEHAWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, anyways...thank you for the pictures.

What employees have accsess inside the park during off season?
  20. Every year we get closer. Inch by inch, coasters grow taller, and we dream of the day that it will come. So, when do you think the 500ft. coaster is going to be built? Who do you think is going to build it? What kind of coaster will it be? Finaly, where will it be?
  21. If I had a job like that, I would be really tempted to take a camera too. Why? Because people like you(and me) enjoy seeing it.
  22. *Who needs an amuesment park when you have a backyard? *statement contains sarcasm
  23. ^Yea, when I was telling my mother about IJST when they first announced it and all, she was upset because that was a B-E-A-Utiful area of the park, with plenty of shade...
