With this wording I can 100% see why they would word it this way. People know TTDS as it is now, a hydrologic launch. To reopen the ride with a new launch tech and keep the theme as is it would seem like a downgrade. Rebranding entirely tells you it's not the same and you shouldn't have the same expectations. Kind of like jolly rancher remix for example (minus nothing happened to the ride system itself)

I think most people were just holding off on going to wait on Matugani to open. Once it was confirmed not to open many people likely just decided to hold off for the year. Let's be honest, would you travel all the way for a vekoma slc? It's a shame that they had to close early. I hope they can grow stronger next season, it's unheard of to have a brand new amusement park built so I am rooting for them!

I'd imagine at this point the other CF parks should be safe. However I wouldn't be shocked if it was added to a few more. Fingers crossed for containing it to Knott's and it just being temporary!

Six flags really is in a bad spot (Not like they were ever in a good spot recently anyway). They just seem too big for what they are, they should consider downsizing and selling off some parks.

Possibly CF strategically did this with plans to move these brand new rides to other parks when the time comes.

I got a new self defined "mini credit" today. I rode Flight of Fear and one of the maintenance spiral staircases had lights on! Not exactly a lights on experience but it was still noticably brighter inside!

That's a bold prediction my friend, if it does happen you may just be the most reputable person on the planet!

Haven't heard anyone say that they will be leaving. I'd assume their price may rise though to entice people to go with the subscription one though.
