For someone who believes that PKI does not have to add a coaster that "pierces the sky" it is too bad you don't know what the term "Giga" stands for. Before you try to one-up someone you should not contridict yourself. You should also go to Cedar Point before making assumptions that you cannot back-up. Apparently you don't really know what Giga means either. Gigacoaster A rollercoaster which exceeds a height of more than 300ft This says nothing about piercing the sky with a coaster. Not to mention the fact that, CP's newest coaster, is what 400+ feet tall? Talk about piercing the sky. Also, before using big words, you should definitely learn to spell them. Like CONTRADICT, and also know the definition as well. I hope you are still in school and have a chance to learn this, newbie.

Delhi Twp. is where I live. about 40 mins each way from PKI.

Either way, there weren't many people in the park last year, on either day. You could walk on to any of the big rides, which is pretty much all that were open in the park. Some of the smaller and family rides weren't open, and some of the shops weren't either, but all the big stuff, and most of the coasters were.

i'll second that one, being someone else who lives in Delhi, and does not support Elder.

I miss KCKC, but we had way to many water/log flume type rides. I am gald that we only have one WT, and the other large one, CF.

If PKI were going to increase anything, I would hope that they would at least increase the Park Police, before thinking about increasing security. Don't the police have more powers than secuirty does? I think that the police are an actualy police department, and I would hope that if the admin decides the park needs more security they add the kind with the majority of power.

I think the bigger change was in changing to the New 3-D movies. Most things like projectors are backwards compatible so they can play older movies and such, just not the new ones. I would bet they could do it, by just using one camera and not the other. On the other hand, they might be able to modify the DOT film, and give it to us, in 3-d which would really kick butt!

You can easily make it on all the major rides in the park no problem,a s long as they are running. last year it was really cold on the one day, and some of the Coasters like face/off were not running. I would say the lines are probably the shortest I have ever seen them on those nights. I walked on to DZ, and that never happens. I didn't wait in one single line on any coaster all night long.

i thought those were the only places where you could get a beer! Are there others i don't know about? Also you have to think about it like this, for those of us that are adults, and are old enough to drink beer: Why should I have to give up what I feel is perfectly fine, because a few people try to ruin it? I'm not the one stumbling around PKI because I am wasted, I usually have one beer while I am there, and thats about it. partially due to the price. I think PKI can keep the beer in the park, but can also keep people in check. It is private property, and that is fine, but if they ditch the beer, thats a whole lot of money down the drain at $4 a 20 oz cup of beer. Think about it, is PKI gonna do this, NO WAY!

MMMM Popcorn Chicken. This probably sounds stupid, but the simplest thing is my favorite: LaRosas's Pizza @ Festhaus, which is usually what I get.

I can't imagine a 3-D film needing a 'Special Screen" Shouldn't it be more like a special camera that will project the image correctly, as actually two images, one a little off from the other so that when you put the glasses on, It looks 3-D. Its kinda like 3-D comic books for those that remember them. They weren't printed on special paper, but instead with a special ink, and the images were off by about 1/4 inch, which gave them the 3-D look with the glasses.

Hopefully they have added tunnels to this aprt of the track,a nd maybe even retracked part of it, making it a bit smoother? I hope the trains are better than their predecessors.

Doubtful, if you look at them, they are nothing but fiberglass, sheet metal and tubular steel. The really expensive stuff like engines are missing. I think they fabricate these somewhere and then deliver them to the parks. In all reality, I wouldn't even consider them to be shells of cars, instead they are just props.

All the new FXAT films suck anymore. The only decent ones ever were Days of Thunder and James bond. The rest are just garbage. Most of them are way to blurry, and the action moves so fast, you have no idea what is going on. They should either make decent films, or just get ride of the whole thing. That or they could change it into like an Alien Encounter thing, like they have at one of the Disney parks, which i think would be pretty cool.

isn't it a little early to be posting rampant rumors about next year? also, hopefully this gets moved to rumors, because personally, i don't think it belongs in here. Why don't we wait until the end of this season,a ndsee what they announce for next year. If this was coming from the park execs I might listen to it, but from a anyone else, that would be like me telling everyone that a new coaster isn't coming for next year.

I don't think that the slants in the first seat of every really effect aerodynamics that much. All you do is put your feet on them. If they made those flat, I'm sure it would be a bit more comfortable.

The end of the ride, always shows your score on the wall, right before you leave the ride. I don;t think that shack is a scoring shack. The Scooby ride at Para Carowinds, had the scores on the wall, just as you were getting off the ride.

last summer there was a large plastic thing covered with a tarp, and it was located behind Tomb Raider. This is where I think they have been shooting the fireworks from, lately. In the one picture, it shows a small yellow building, off to the left of SOB, as well as two white things, I wonder what those are? The over head shot also shows a good view of the fountain, and it sure does look brand new. Another intersting thing, is being able to see the overall height of Delirium, and Scooby Doo. All the pictures are interesting, and show some very cool things, as well as hopefully, some ideas as to what is to come.

Maybe we will see an all new sign this year. If the sign guys made one visit, and started finding problems with the sign, after replacing a bunch of the bulbs, then maybe PKI told them to just fix the whole thing. That would be cool. new PKi logo at the top, and new color boards in the middle. I'll bet thats expensive no matter what, running cabling all the way back to around the park gates. One thing is for sure, the sign will really stand out, if it is in fact color, when finished.

For all we know, they could have been back in there trimming trees in the middle of the night or........................ maybe they are changing something on SOB that will make it better? Just a thought. They could be adding tunnels to one or both of the helixes, which would be all out, cool.

I think it could be an on-ride photo. Doesn't PKI store the photos on computer from each day, so that if you decided you want the picture, you can come back alter and get it? I don't think it would be a problem to find your picture, as I am sure most pics are time/date stamped, when they are taken, so people can find them again.

You jut ahve to really like the movie Top Gun, like I do, and then you wouldn't have a problem with it. The movie soundtrack is really good. I don't think I could get tired of listening to it.
