We don't need a Giga at PKI. I would rather see PKI build smaller one of a Kind coasters, than build something just because of its sheer size. I for one am just not interested in it. yeah its big and may work for some parks, but I don't think PKI is one of them.

Sweet, A Plus for me. For all those interested, you might want to try the Sushi as generally california rolls are made with imitation crab meat, not real crab meat.

I think I remember reading that Bubba Gumps is gonna hve a bar as well. I can't believe this, as I do not think that there are any other bars in PKI. The other plus is that there was some mention of beer and mixed drinks, which currently do not exist at PKI.

That cool zons idea sounds good to me.On really hot days, the one at The Beast, is always one of the best places to get cooled off.

Any idea what kind of sushi they serve, and whether it is made fresh daily? Sushi that isn't made fresh daily is unhealthy for you. I like California Rolls, though when it comes to sushi. A little soy sauce, some wasabi to spice it up a notch.

Dance Music is good, and movie music too. i would like it if they were able to update with new music throughout the summer, as well as some of the cleaner music videos.

I thought the board at Carowinds went upwards of 1000 or even 1200+>? Maybe PKi can redo the board, and add a few more sections to it. They can make the last one read something like this: 1500+ = you are way to old to be riding this ride! LOL

I would have to say good aim, would also help you get a high score. When I rode the Para Carowinds one, aiming seemed to have a lot of effect on the whole thing. Shoot well, and be rewarded with lots of points.

And why would it never happen? They could easily add another thrill ride, change a few more restaurants and really spruce up the park theming all in one off season, and the park would be a whole new experience, especially fi they did something with The Paramount Story, like maybe changing out some of the stuff in it to something newer, like some stuff from Tomb Raider or something else fun.

Don't know if I will make it there this year, with the fitting problems. I was thinking aobut this the other day, do the rear seats in each car also have the rubber foot things on the bottom of the restraints? Just a question, as it might be my ticket to getting back on FoF, if I can cross my legs, and then sit down.

in all actuality, most people break their arms by landing on them in some way or another. Usually its kids that do this, and do break their arms falling forward. It wouldn't surprise me if someone of a small stature/build fell forward and broke their arm, especially in teenagers, since sometimes they tend to grow a little out of proportion.

Hello, did I not just explain this crystal clear? The cops and the firefighters are gonna say whatever they want to get you to leave them alone. Obviously in a situation such as this, there are bigger problems than you getting into the park, maybe the fact that some guy with aknife is threatening to kill himself? I would epect you to get a so called one word answer, to get you to leave them alone so they can focus on the situation. God, its like, its all about everyone else, and nobody wants to give a little respect to thsese guys, considering the fact that they are trying to keep the park safe and other people from being hurt. Us public safety personnel always get crap like this, its like we are in the way or something, until someone decides they need our help. What the H*LL?

Give it a break. Let me give you a little insight into the rest of the story you probably didn't see. Firstly, the cops and firefighters want you out of their way so that you do not become a victim as well. if someone is threatening to use a weapon, the police need room to work with that person, even if it means closing all the gates into the park. You could be walking within ten feet of this problematic person, and then all of a sudden you could become a victim too. This is for your safety. Chances are, after the police either talked this individual down, or subdued him in some way, they then had the firefighters and EMS personnel move in, help restrain the individual and then take him to a Psych. Ward. These people are just doing their jobs, like the rest of us FF's, and we see a lot of stuff that the General Public does not, with how people behave when they feel threatened and what that can lead to. not only in terms of people trying to harm others, but also trying to harm themselves. It is easiest for Public Safety personnel to rope off an entire area, than have to worry about you getting in the way, and getting yourself into trouble. Obviously, getting used to the metal detectors is gonna take some time, and PKI is gonna need to have a backup plan so that people can still enter and exit the park when incidents like this one occur. Most likely over time, PKi will install some additional metal detectors as well as backup gates, so that people can still enter and exit the park when they want to, if things like this were to ever happen again. Just remember this, it is all about safety. Not just your safety as a visitor, but the safety of the park, its employees, the Cops on the run, and also the firefighters/EMS personnel. Give them a break. They are only doing their jobs, and helping to keep everyone SAFE!

With all this talk about theming and retheming, I would be happy if PKI took a year off of adding stuff, and just did a complete renewal of all areas of the park, including theming. Reopen the lower level of TG with a fresh coat of paint, Make the majority of the effects on AE work, and add some intersting plant life in the outside areas of it. Redo Coney Mall so that it still retains the nostaligc look, but is also clean looking and new. Retheme Rivertown so that it actually fits in. Call it Jungle Village or something like that, since there aren't many rivers left in it. Just renew the entire park, and then got back to new rides and adventures for everyone. I think a park face-lift would do some good, and they could even add just one ride along the way.

Where in PKI are they selling this stuff? Everywhere? i didn't remember seeing any sign for Sprite Remix on the wonderful (sarcastic) pass preview night.

Currently at PKi there are no coasters that are really rough. The only reason SoB is so bad, is due in fact to poor design on the coaster trains. Had to trains been built more like The Beast Trains, everything would be fine. Personally, I think that all of PKI's current coasters are quite smooth, and we don't really have one really bad and rough coaster.

Maybe they are referring to those stupid foot plates/ramps int eh bottom of the cars, that everyone for the most part has agreed are stupid, and removing them would make it so much more comfortable.

I don't remember any promises about AE being fixed and adding anew tunnel, All I remember is the speculation that the ride really needed it. You guys are buying way far into what you are hearing. You are hearing what you want to hear, not what is really being said.

I guess when you are going to PKI will also have a facor in all of that, as some restaurants are being renovated like the shrimp shack and won't be open till sometime in June.

Just got this reply from PKI about Friday night. Thought oyu all would like to see it, when I questioned the exclusiveness of the evening. here ya go !!!! The ride was modified after she fell from it, and I think seatbelts, and also a divider between the seats were installed. I think originally, she slid out, because she was in the ride alone, and there was no divider, between the seats. Soemthing along the lines of she was leaning out the car to see what was going on, and then did a couple of barrel rolls, and then she fell out. Flight Commander was quite cool though, and it turned in acircle you could control which way the car turned and what it did, with a joystick between the seats.
