Orion Coming to Kings Island in 2020
Am I the only one who doesn't understand the "story?" They show a meteor, then say it's a meteor storm, then say there's hope in the form of a new planet in the Orion constellation. But then the name of the ride is Orion. And somewhere in there human tests come into play... what? lol

Orion Coming to Kings Island in 2020
I have a feeling they're saving the world record for next time.. with a different company.. for a different type of coaster. I hope anyway.

Weren't we just complaining about there not being any teasers a few days ago? Is this really the last full week of operation? Where the heck did summer go ? Does this mean opening day 2020 will be here soon?

Even though we know 98% of what is going to be announced, I don't think I've ever been more excited for a ride announcement.. maybe I just want to see those cranes in action!

That's pretty big but I think the two they have there now are the small ones. I can't wait to see the massive cranes they use for topping of the lift hill / drop

This was my first thought about that building as well, and seriously hope it's not. I love VR but not on coasters. It never works correctly, slows everything way down, and takes away from the ride

HR: > 75 ... heart rate greater than 75?

Looks like they may be putting posters up about the other coasters at the park.. with some their key stats encrypted within the images, and somewhere down the line they will put up a poster about project x and we'll be able to figure out the key stats of it.

Oh yep, the first U is at 1:11 somewhat hidden in the other shell, and the other U is flat to the camera. Mystery solved

there's 5 letters not 6. there is at least one A and one S though
-
Decoding 2020
Those are all letters. some of them are sideways.. or even upside down. like the smiley faces they sometimes launch. The millennium force logo has a second wave in it to complete the "M" this looks more like a N to me. The last one perhaps a sideways A

Decoding 2020
now there's gonna be 20 pages of people arguing what those 5 letters are supposed to be..
-
Decoding 2020
There hasn't been a specific ride announcement, no POV, no name.. ect.

You guys know they've been teasing this whole time right? Building a coaster and not saying a word about it.. that's the ultimate tease. Also, Hershey's coaster is now vertical and there's been no announcement yet.

Just got back from the park, it appears they have every remaining footer staked out.

Maybe the 100 degrees and high humidity had something to do with that lol

Concerning the rattle.. Fury 325 does have the same rattle as Diamondback. The rattle comes from the space between the main wheels and the upstop wheels, essentially the train is bouncing up and down. I'm not sure what causes this but it's not the build of the track. The supports can move around on the footers a fair amount to line up with the track and they're not grouted and fully bolted until the track they connect with is perfect. And even if the track alignment, supports, and footers are perfect, the whole system still sways from the wind and the force of the train. The rattle seems to depend on the train. The green train on Banshee is unridable for me and gives me a headache every time. Purple used to have almost no rattle and blue had just a tiny bit. This year it seams as if blue and purple are even and green is worse still. The red train on Diamondback seems to be the most bumpy. Maybe it has something to do with the wear on the wheels. B&M need to use a system like RMC does on Steel Vengance where the upstop wheels are under tension by springs which hold them to the underside of the track.. no gap, no bumps.

Those "doors" at the entrance are just gates in the que railing, That symbol does not mean door, it just means a directional opening. I can't seem to figure out what that area is though or a reason for gates in both lines to access it. The sign will probably be on the entrance building.

I assume that blue matches the strip on the FOF building.. What color(s) do we think the trains will be?
