Seeing all the pictures of the fountains at night has sealed the deal for me, these fountains are a huge improvement and I look forward to seeing more of their capabilities during my next visit. Kings Island did a fantastic job with this renovation.

I think the reason the thumbnail is like that is because he’s a very sarcastic person.

I assume some of those executives came when Taft bought Carowinds in 1975? Also I don’t know if you know anything about this but was there any major reason why Kings Island was sold to Linder? I assumed it had something to do with the fact he bought out Taft that same year.

Can someone tell me why KECO did this? They hadn’t sold Kings Island yet. Hard company to research to be quite honest.

There’s not going to be an inversion on this ride, B&M clamshell’s can not support that.

I think another company did the other signs, the Notice of commencement had 2 sign companies. The other sign company I assume did the Kings Mills auto sign(Based off of their portfolio). I’m assuming the flat, less detail signs are made by that company. Exhibit 3 fabrications (The ones who made the Banshee sign) as you mentioned also does a ton of work around the park.

The company that made the Banshee sign has been contracted by the park (Per the Notice of commencement)

TEA has released this years attendance estimates, notably they estimated Cedar Fair only grew .7% & Kings Island grew .5% SeaWorld entertainment keeps recovering from the Blackfish backlash and saw an attendance increase of 8.6%. http://www.teaconnect.org/images/files/328_572762_190522.pdf

I’ll reserve judgement for the station, it appears the people who are designing it are the same people who’ve done, Copperhead strike, Banshee & GateKeeper, they know what they’re doing.

At least TRA is designing the station, should be a good one.

The new rollercoaster seems to allow for some expansion of X-Base but not a ton of room for it due to how close that ampersand is to The Racer.

That’s another thing that’s confused me, this rollercoaster seems to block off so much potential land for expansion, yes they could build over / under it but that seems kind of doubtful.

So we’re getting an Apollo chariot styled drop? Not going to lie that’s probably the most disappointing thing I’ve seen come out of this leaked layout.

Did you happen to get photos at the end of the clearing? If there’s markers there it’ll confirm the clearing won’t grow.

I said a 3/5, When it comes to amusement parks I’d say Kings Island is up there when it comes to theming. Mystic Timbers, I-Street, Rivertown are all themed pretty well. I’d like to see Coney mall get a bit of love but that area is somewhat in decent condition. I think the biggest area of the park that needs to get addressed is Action Zone.

Yeah but CedarFair would lower their ROI if they really decided to not go an extra 25 ft. There’s almost no way this thing won’t be at least 300 ft, it just doesn’t make any sense.
