  1. Not bad. I especially enjoy that Coney Mall sign. ~Shadow~
  2. IMO, Delerium is a great flat ride. At this point, I honestly don't care that it's not as extreme as a rollercoaster. I just think it's a darned fun ride to ride. My only beef with it right now is that it needs to be longer. But then again would you want to wait and ride it? Who knows.... ~Shadow~
  3. Mmm, sushi... I'll have to check that out. Gotta get the far east in me somehow, you know? ~Shadow~
  4. Well as most of you may already know, the park was extremely dead today. But I did manage to squeeze in a few hours before I did anything. Workwise we closed one of our shops and a couple of our associates (Namely Me and one other) worked in the stockroom. We have been working on this thing all weekend. For the merch people, you haven't seen big stockroom until you've seen Rock's stockroom. So you guys get off lucky... lol. They gave one associate the oppertunity to go home, so i took the oppertunity. I wasn't in much of a working mood due to some family problems. So i tried riding rides. My first stop was Scooby. I figured I should ride it considering the fact that I have not ridden it yet. I was luke warm about the ride in general. I liked it, but it could of been a little better. *Sigh* i guess it was my mood then.. lol I then took the oppertunity to ride Delerium twice. I rode it last weekend and I absolutley loved it. So I rode it twice this weekend.. lol. If you don't beleive me, ask AZ Kinda Guy. Delerium=Addictive.. Drop Zone was an entirely different story. You see, I have a moderate fear of hights. I say moderate because there are kinds I can stand and can't stand. I can stand on the Eiffel Tower no problem, because there is no way you could fall off of that thing. DZ just brings out the worst in me. It brings two things together that I can't stand. Being up really high and falling (exclude roller coasters). I came off of the ride with numb hands that couldn't move.. I rode SOB in the front car as well. If you have not yet experienced this coaster in the front, I highly reccomend it. The wind in your hair, the roughness of the car. That fact that I actually didn't get a headache.... Face/Off did suprisingly well in terms of force (I also got front/back seat..). Last season I remember almost blacking out on that ride. Today that didn't happen. Go F/O...Thus ends my AZ tour. My Final stop was Coney Mall. I figured I should take a break from all the ride riding, so I make my way towards the Coney Arcade for a little DDR (Dance Dance Revoution for those who don't know...) I brushed up on some old mixes on the Standard difficulty and did nonstop mode. I did decent, but I can do better. I stayed a little longer to watch this one guy who absolutely tore it up! STX, this is a guy you should idolize... he was doing heavy mode the whole time and passed 2 of his songs that were incredibly fast... Paranoia Survivor killed him. But he is danged good... After all of that stuff I give the backwards Racer a ride for old times sake. I ended up getting stuck on the lift hill for about 5 minutes. That was pure fun, let me tell ya. I had lightning right in view of where i was at. Plus it was windy.. lol. Ride went well afer that though. Long story short, I hopped on FOF and SBSP and ended up getting soaked in the process due to that poetic rain... lol. A strange day indeed... ~Shadow~
  5. My Techniques: 1. Pay attention 2. Aim Well 3. Hit the blue lights 4. Hit the Scooby Snacks too. I really didn't put much of an effort into the ride and ended up 1300 without trying.. ~Shadow~
  6. 2 1/2 for SOB. If the line's any longer than that, I don't even bother... ~Shadow~
  7. SOB hands down. It really depends on the train though. And it may be different if it gets new restraints.... ~Shadow~
  8. Let's see, one guess could be the money room. Where else? Resale, HR, PKIU (The Training area...). Just a few guesses... ~Shadow~

It's not Aaron, the forum webmaster. It's AZ Kinda guy. I thought he was Dempsey at first, but we introduced each other and we talked for a couple seconds before I rode. I met StX Bomber at the CM arcade playing DDR as well.... So I met 2 forum members, how neat. ~Shadow~
  10. EC is out. Although we should have been out today. Dang that snow.... ~Shadow~
  11. It was andrew. I didn't play CSFIL on maniac. But make it fair... do it on standard at least.... lol. I'm not that good... ~Shadow~
  12. As Jake said, the merch shops are selling it. I took a quick peek at where they were publishing it, it sure caught my eye... ~Shadow~
  13. Yeah , I saw it, played it, loved it. I also have a new enemy in terms of mastering a song. That song is Dam Darian. Oh and Stx, I want to challenge you to a game of DDR now that we met. The challenge is on....
  14. Rock Shop and Fudge. I start work tomorrow at 2:30. Merch, your revenue generators. ~Shadow~
  15. I'm working both days. So look for me at Rock or Fudge. ~Shadow~
  16. Yea, they did fix The Beast's brakes. They did it before the start of last season. Last time I remember riding it, it would slow down pretty hard in some places.... although it's been awhile since I rode The Beast. ~Shadow~
  17. Yeah, it's usually when full season hits things start to heat up. Pre-Season is usually laid back. Go then. ~Shadow~
  18. *Writes down the dates* OK, I'm ready to not go to work those days.... ~Shadow~
  19. If anyone looked at the fountain pics, did anyone notice that the old PKI logo was propped up? I saw that during my walk into my shop for location training and it's been picking my brain ever since. I'm guessing that they're changing the logo for it soon. What do you think? As for the other pics, they're pretty sweet. Thanks Kristin! ~Shadow~
  20. Yeah, I saw it running this past saturday and it looks really crazy to ride. I'm definitely going to give this baby a whirl.... ~Shadow~
  21. Uhh, he's as weird as ever. You have history with this guy or something? Look at it this way, he's better than our Asst Principal.... ~Shadow~
  22. Yea no kidding. That place really needs some good food... ~Shadow~
  23. *Scoff* PS2.... What a rip off. IMO it's overrated. That and it's not much of a value. I have an Xbox and I have not bought one memory card. If i go any farther I'll probably start a flame war *Back on topic* I'm optimistic about the season, but I'm not overly excited about the whole thing. As for my job, I need money to repair my clunker of a car... so no Xbox games for me.. *Goes back to playing MGS2:Substance* ~Shadow~
  24. Did anyone catch the part about Subway being put in where the Sweet Tooth used to be? Sad..... ~Shadow~
  25. I like them both. Action Zone has it's fair share of thrill rides, as does Rivertown. Both of them house a Beast coaster, so how could you go wrong? ~Shadow~
