2025 Schedule is Out
Last year was 4-9. The year before was 12-7. Pre-covid it was 4-10 or 5-10 I believe. 2023 when it was 12-7 was awesome, because it wasn't Good Friday. The first 3-4 hours were dead. It was fantastic.

2025 Schedule is Out
While not a full day (10-10), 9 hours for Passholder Preview is pretty sweet.

With the merger and what could have been, I'm happy with the calendar.

WinterFest 2024 Reviews
Had a fantastic night last night! It was our last visit of the season (29). Park was super packed but my wife and I had a very successful night. Here's the rundown: -Rope dropped the Mac 'n Cheese Bar, went to watch Swingin' into Christmas (5:30 show). -Walked through Action Zone, Adventure Port, and Coney Mall. -Used our Single Use Fast Lane on Antique Autos (bypassing a probably 60-90 minute wait) -Hit the 6:30 MistleTones, 7:00 Jingle Jazz, and 7:30 Yuletide Follies. -Made a lap through Planet/Camp Snoopy, Rivertown, and the Drive-In. -Watched the parade from Coney Mall near Area 72. As soon as the parade passed, headed straight to the train for a 5 minute wait. -Went to I-Street to grab a slice of pizza and ate by the skating rink. -Last stop of the night was a 1 ride wait for the Holly Jolly Trolly. Strolled out of the park at about 10:02. Until 2025 KI!!!

Winterfest 24
The only way to know in advance would be if KI updates the website, or if you called, given the call center is open. As far as price, it is typically around the $35 range. Last year they did an upcharge for $7-8 for the dessert. I called about that last week, and was told that they have not seen any indication that there will be the dessert upcharge this year. The rep I spoke to said the menu simply said "choice of one dessert". We are planning on giving it a try on Sunday, so we are in the same cross our fingers and hope there isn't a last minute buyout as well!

As disco2000 stated, I was simply using the website verbiage. Any confusion should be directed to the park.

Yes! I just wish they would have it all year since they do have it at Island Smokehouse; but, I guess it does make it extra special this way at Coney

Speaking of the cookie decorating, has anyone done it this year? How are the cookies? Last year they were garbage. I'm hoping they went back to the cookies from 2 years ago, but at that price point, I'm not hopeful.

Hot Chocolate Issues
I’ve been 3 for 3 the past couple of weeks. ICEE stand in I-Street, French Corner, and the bar in the Festhaus on the Larosa’s side. Hot chocolate was also available at the Coke Marketplace in Adventure Port, but I didn’t get one that time. When I scanned my pass, the associate actually asked, “Soda or hot chocolate?” Hoping everything will be resolved soon with issues, sounds like a lot of the ICEE growing pains from the first few weeks of the season.

We saw the sock puppet Friday night as well. Totally agree with you about the maze this year. I think it is our #2 behind Hotel St. Michelle.

Ride Wait Times 2024
I am guessing with the nice weather, it will probably be slammed. Try to get there at opening if you can. We can typically knock out the 5 indoor haunts in the first hour or so with little to no wait.

Ride Wait Times 2024
We typically never go on Saturday nights. The only reason we did was our oldest son works full time and doesn't have a pass. He visits a few times with our Prestige Pass Bring a Friend. Saturday was his only option to visit Haunt. We did buy Fright Lane (our first time with that). I will say it was interesting actually seeing that level of crowds at Kings Island in person. Absolutely bonkers.

Speaking to the lack of drink stands, we were at the park Saturday night, probably one of the busiest days/nights of the year. Walking through Rivertown (wall to wall people) and, to no surprise, both the Freestyle and the drink stand by LaRosa's were closed. Oh, but the bar right next to the Freestyle was open... On a plus side, we did snag some hot chocolate Friday night with our Drink Plan+.
