  6. Something I noticed on Instagram: Somebody is following Cedar Fair parks... I feel like it would be bad for business and publicity if they followed their main buyers biggest rival, unless they had a reason to, such as the rival is now a buyer. This is all pure speculation. (The Disney part might have a different explanation as to why they are being followed, but the same goes for them) *I do not know whether this is an official RMC page, so if someone did know, that would be great and might help us debunk this stuff. 7. It's actually really fun to go on water rides when it's cold. I used to always go on RFYLCB and WWC when it was below 60 degrees because it's a walk on and those rides usually always have a wait. I would have gone on RFYLCB today, especially if it was raining! 8. ^I'd say no, especially since KI just got one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. ^I was about to say that. Track for KI wouldn't start appearing before mid-June at the earliest I'd think Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. For those of you that don't know, Clermont Steel Fabricators, the steel company that produces the tracks for B&M coasters, is located in Batavia.
  11. Agreed. I feel like they wouldn't need to do this much work for cowboy coaster [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. They could be working during the week, we just might not be able to see anything... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The thing about this is that they contradict each other. The first talks about a flat (obviously) but others like the one above does the "major key" thing with Diamondback. There are only a few flat rides that could interact with Diamondback, such as a log flume or a dark ride (if you believe they are flats), which just doesn't seem right to interact with a coaster as big and fast as Diamondback. I feel like only another coaster could really interact with it, which causes that paradoxical situation.
  14. If I believe in him then you must be married to him!
  15. ^like I've been saying, it's so secluded that you might not be able to see anything. Plus, we already got a webcam picture of cement trucks going back there (most like for WWC but it shows they can go back there) and we don't know what's going on by the waterpark in terms of possible paths. And in all honesty, "cowboy coaster" is at max, #3 most likely, besides a giga and GCI Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I agree with that, but that doesn't mean it's impossible to do it. There's still a very real possibility that a giga is coming. There's also a very real possibility it's not. Only a select few people know. Back on the giga thing though, we honestly have no idea how far along the prepping is. Heck, there could be footings already down! It's just such a secluded and covered area that we can't tell much from the train or the webcams. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. ^Why, might I ask? There may be a lot of clearing that we cannot see from the train, especially if it is back by Diamondback or hidden by WWC. Again, as I know it's been stated a ton of times, money gets things done quicker. Technically, KI has about 10 months from now to finish the coaster so that they'll have adequate time for testing. All this together makes me believe that anything is still possible. We cannot count anything out as of now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I agree Intamin makes "nimble" coasters, but I also believe B&M and Mack also make very "nimble" coasters. A good example for B&M would be Fury 325 and for Mack it would be Helix. If you aren't familiar with these, I would encourage you to look them up. Like I said earlier, B&M will do most anything to make their clients happy. I'm sure they could easily make a coaster like Maverick and Skyrush, in my opinion, but their coasters are world renowned in their own right. I think they are currently working on the old saying of "if it ain't broke don't fix it!"
  19. A cowboy coaster, me asking what is the cowboy coaster, and that certain manufacturer that made both rides (Skyrush and the "Cowboy coaster") is very unlikely to be used due to the downtime and other issues So what your telling me is that there is not going to be a coaster then? I saw on this thread what Banshee looked like at this time and all the land was already cleared. Banshee and Diamondback are from the same company. I don't think anyone said there definitely wouldn't be a coaster, just personal opinions. Like people have said before, a lot of stuff can happen in a short time with enough money. What was being said is that the company that made Skyrush and Maverick (the cowboy coaster), Intamin, has problems with downtime among other things, making it unlikely that they will build the next roller coaster. B&M, Diamondback's manufacturer, is known for reliability and safety. Cedar Fair has been buying coasters from them for years and seem to be very satisfied with their work. Like others have said, they make long and thin coasters that take up a small footprint. However, they can also create coasters that wrap around themselves, such as Rougarou. They will do most anything to make their clients happy.
  20. ^And a touch of green Intamin track Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. While that would be cool, I doubt they would do that. As multiple other people have said already, The Beast would lose its isolation, which is one of the biggest factors as to why the night rides are so legendary. I think a more likely option would be to go out towards the water park and the fort, turning around, go all the way over by Diamondback, turn around again, dart along the ground and through the woods, and finally flying into the brakes. Hopefully the intensity and ejector airtime would be crazy.
  22. Please list off one thing that makes you think it's going to be a coaster. lolThat wasn't my point. My point is please at least skim through the pages before posting your "unique" reason as to why it "definitely is/is not a coaster" because somebody else most likely said it earlier alreadyHello, at least read my post before accusing me of not reading anything. I've read every post in this thread. I've been posting in it since the beginning. I was here for the whole 2014 decoding thread. I definitely didn't say it definitely isn't a coster. I just said I don't think it is and listed out the reasons I don't think it is.I clearly said there is enough time to do it if they choose to. I didn't say there isn't enough room for a coaster. I said that taking out individual trees does not give them enough room for a ride path. I listed out facts about the construction process and why it limits their time for a 2017 opening. Are they still teaching reading comprehension in High School? Kids these days.... I never accused you of anything actually. I was just stating in general because it has occurred multiple times in this thread. It was more of a "hey everyone, please stop stating what's been stated 10 times already." You just assumed I was speaking to you because you were guilty of it.Did they even teach reading comprehension years ago? Adults these days... Your post 1463 quoted my post asking for you to list off why its a coaster. In response to me you said "My point is please at least skim through the pages before posting your "unique" reason as to why it "definitely is/is not a coaster" because somebody else most likely said it earlier already" Since you quoted and responded to me, and you used the word "your" that means you were addressing me. And in this post, you are saying I'm guilty of it, further showing you were addressing me. You were wrong, and just were trying to look like you know what you are talking about. Now you are trying to half backtrack and act like you weren't really responding to me because you have absolutely no background in anything construction related and have no clue how to accurately address my reasoning. All you can do is take things other people said and hope they were right. I mean you thought this was going to be a dark ride and now you are going to pretend to have any clue how to look at the site and figure out what they are doing? Being snarky might be cool with your friends, but if you are going to come on here and act like you know anything about anything, be ready to back it up. If you can't you will be shown how ignorant you are on what you are trying to talk about. If they start posting hints that suggest its a ride themed to To Kill a Mockingbird or we need to figure out a hypotenuse, feel free to chime in. First off, sir or madam, I was using it to regard everyone in general. "You" and "your" can be used to apply to multiple people. Obviously it is not me that does not know normal grammar. Also, if you (this time I'm talking to just you, since you can't tell) read a later post, you obviously would have seen why I changed my prediction. Lastly, it's pretty offensive that you are questioning my intelligence, considering you don't even know me. I just got GSP for Kentucky (if you don't know its significance, look it up) am number 1 in my class, have over a 6.0 weighted GPA, not to mention a 33 on the ACT, and a National Merit Scholar.

  25. Okay, for everyone that does not want to read all these pages, but make claims as to why it will not be a coaster, here's what was said: Not enough space there - actually more than enough space for a coaster when given the overhead view Not enough time - With enough money there is (see Gatekeeper) Banshee was just put in - KI is the 3rd highest grossing park in the Cedar Fair chain, plus they can do whatever they see fit (see Cedar Point installation recently) No footings yet - see above about "not enough time" Uneven skyline - this may be true, but as someone already stated, the skyline looks different from different angles (more of an opinion thing imo) No flats recently - Woodstock gliders? Everyone has their own opinions, mine being that it will be a coaster. I respect your opinion about it not being a coaster, as that is a very real possibility, but please don't restate something that has already been stated 10 other times unless you bring something new about it to the table.
