Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
Follow up, got stuck at the bottom of the chainlift because the chain didn't start (at least the anti-rollback worked!) and I just got off! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^I'm next in line for the last row and NOW they decide to put the second train on the track smh. That is literally my luck. That stuff happens to me all the time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^^I never understood why they didn't do timberliners, but the normal trains are pretty good! Another problem is capacity. The line should be 30 minutes max for the voyage, but with a mixture of one train running and slow loading, unloading, and dispatching, the line is about an hour long. Also, Legend is very smooth. I've never been here before, but I'd say that the retracting work they've done played a huge part. Plus, the double down hill catches me off guard every time and it gives a good bit of ejector airtime. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm currently at Holiday World and I must say that a wooden coaster would be a great addition to the park. The Voyage is simply amazing and I'd love to see KI get a gravity group woody. Also, the Legends lateral G's are simply phenomenal! KI really needs a woody like these. The Beast and Racer are great, but in their own regards. A high banking woody with crazy airtime is needed. Side note: I'm still on team giga though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^If I remember correctly though, you said that the GP goes of what Kings Island goes off. Why would it only apply to what the thrill factor is and not the type of ride? Confused DB Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So you couldn't name a park with a better lineup of family coasters? That's about what I expected. You're asking for a coaster to fit a very specific age gap that covers about 2 years of age, for a park that already has a couple coasters that fit that exact age range. I just don't understand how people can say that's KI's biggest coaster gap. Sent from my SM-G925V using Tapatalk Agreed. However, an addition of a nice spinning coaster/a nice, unique wild mouse would be great I few years down the road when the older teens and adults are satisfied with a giga (hopefully) and maybe 1 or 2 thrill rides a few years down the road Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Going to bite the bait here. Beast gal, please look up the number of B&M installations in Cedar Fair parks since 2009 when Diamondback was installed. You are looking way too far back just to prove your point. If we look at the very near past, the last Intamin installation in a Cedar Fair was I305 and B&M has consistently installed rides in Cedar Fair park. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm still salty that Banshee didn't win. It's not just that it didn't win, but that it lost to Flying Turns out of everything that year. I thought it was going to be between Goliath, Helix, and Banshee, and out of that great year of new coasters, Flying Turns won... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^I'm in the same group as you. I don't get how people HATE Mean Streak and SOB. I love(d) them! Yes they are/were rough, but they are great. SOB never let up. It was high intensity from beginning to end. Honestly, I just want KI to get another ride like that. Yes, Banshee has no MCBR, but it just (ironically) seems too short. If KI would get a giga or even a Cowboy Coaster, I think they fill this little "intensity void" they have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^Thats what I was saying. Some people include it as a Stengel dive due to the fact that it is a high bank at the top of a hill, even though it does not fit the exact definition of a Stengel dive. Technically, I would consider it a reverse Stengel, as it is a high banking turn into a camelback Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He says it should have a steegal dive or two. I believe he was referring to a Stengel Dive, which, for those of you that do not know, is a mixture of a camelback and a sharp banked turn at the top of it. They are found on many Intamin roller coasters, such as Maverick and Goliath at Walabi World, but I believe some B&Ms have them, such as (possibly) Fury (Depending on if its turnaround is considered one)

I think this was already discussed pages ago (I may be wrong) but I believe most people concluded that this was not the case.
