That isn't the appoach to the loop. The tarp is over the bottom section of the first drop.

My Bad, i thought it was approach loop, it still wouldnt be the best location, tunnel would be nice, but honestly, not going to happen.

Ya i doubt it will either. How would a tunnel affect g-forces?

Top Gun has always been that color.

Actually Top Gun originally was Red, and was painted about 7 years or so ago, Tim Fisher (Park GM at the time) was highly mad after he saw the finished paint job when it was painted silver/ gray he thought it was primer.

Your right, Top Gun does look different...

I think Top Gun is the same, although its hard to tell from such a distance. I don't think it was painted though because you think that would have been mentioned during the IJ:ST tour when it was said Face Off was being painted, I don't know why they would keep painting Top Gun a secret.

About the SOB tunnel thing, although its not a tunnel it would make perfect sense for it to have one. I've never understood why it dosen't considering the other two coasters in the family both have tunnels.

Top Gun was painted for the Action Zone make over in 1999. Personally, I liked it better when the track was red as opposed to the silver color it is now.

Yup. I keep hoping they're paint it back to the red color, looks a lot nicer.

It just looked a different color for some reason.

^Well I'd like to say very nice pics it seems a lot more came out this time then last. Although I would still like to see an ariel shot of The Beast back in the woods and maybe one of WWC, but still the pics are very nice, makes me more excited for the park to open.

There's no new ride going there, the grass just turns brown in the winter. That's also where the tent for the Fear Fest attraction, Sleepy Hollow was.

Yea theres no ride going in there, although not to completley get on Kong Fu, I guess it is a possibility that a new ride could be built there sometime in the future, just in no way is it this year.
