Another funny thing about Zephyr, after getting off the Days of Thuder side of Action Theater on Memorial Day, is when the ride op said "Enjoy the rest of your day at Paramount's Kings Island, home of the Zephyr!"

Sounds like Allen...after every train would come into the staion he would be like " Enjoy your day at Paramounts Kings Island, Home of ( ride name here)" He said like goofy things to like Dodgems, HB carsoel, Atom Ants Airways, Taxi Jam, Monster....you know the less popular rides...he had the whole crew and the people in the station, in line laughing the whole time they were there

During the one time I have been at greeter at my ride (sob)so far this year, I had a guest ask me why we do not have signs leading the way to the Eifel Tower. I was stunned...

I did the *insert random small attraction here* thing before. Working Zephyr sometimes I would say, "Thanks for riding Zephyr, and enjoy the rest of your day here at Paramount's Kings Island, home of the Lucky Ducky!"

Someone was upset that we hadnt had our tape measure calibrated. Who the heck calibrates a tape measure?

Any company that makes products that must be passed by the FDA. (i.e. - medical device companies)

If you buy it from a store its calibrated lol.

^ Not really. While the tick marks may match up with another reference object, the size of them is too large to be considered "calibrated" or "exact within limit". That is why even though you technically "calibrate" it really is considered "for reference only" or capable of taking rough estimates.
