I'd venture a guess that they run Red simply because it's visible from the Midway of the area formerly known as Coney Mall.

I would like to point out that they can open the Blue side  and not the Red side as the Blue side was the forwards side when the Red side was recaR and they usually opened the backwards side later in the day.  

Is it safe to speculate that GCI will come back in the offseason to do work on the Red Racer?

I can only hope. The entire ride needs a renovation.

Hopefully this ride gets the lift hill system that Racer 75 at Kings Dominion got fir 2019.    As long as the trains are released within something like 30 seconds of each other, The lift hill synchronize them so they go over the top at the same time.    

I think a retrack and new coat of paint is all Racer needs. If they ever RMC Racer I honestly swear.....Ill never go there again........ 

I have to imagine it would run better with Millennium Flyers than those track shredding three bench PTC's.
