Hmmm. When I zoom in, all I can see is "Obi-Don!"

Nothing to see here. Just some trees, and a few engineers and stone carvers working on an 80' statue... move along

  • Hi guys!  Long time follower, first time poster.  Just wanted to finally join in on the fun!  This is the first season I've had a pass in probably more than a decade!  I grew up in the area but I mov

What's that grass themed Big Foot that "lives" in Ohio? Perhaps that?  No...no way.

Just "Grassman".

I always called them Mummers, but that's what my family called them.

Going to suggest that everyone start thinking about getting in line very soon. It is currently wound past the new funnel cake stand.

Ill give you a hint. Don was actually curious if he could have a splinter cat in his house.

So I think I am incredibly close to the name/theme after reading this. That was not in fact an axe in the truck.

So i have heard the supposed name. Doesn't really fit with a coaster. Maybe a mountain themed log ride like knots berry has.

Can someone please repost the link to watch the live stream?

Also, anybody know if it will work on a Roku (so my whole family can watch in the living room)?

Well, I did guess world's largest log flume.

Timber Mountain....?

So maybe Foggy Mtn......Smoky Mtn...

First time poster, however, i've been reading for a long time now, and figured I should probably just make an account. I hope everyone else is just as excited to hear the announcement tonight as I am. I only live about 20 minutes away from the park so my sister and I are going to head over there tonight at 8:30. While I was originally hoping for an RMC, we recently went to Dollywood, rode Thunderhead and now I honestly would be happy with either GCI or RMC.

Btw my prediction:

GCI

Length: 3,000 to 4,000 ft.

Height: 150 to 200 ft.

Elements: lots of airtime and some 90 degree banking

Originally liked Splintercat but now i'm second guessing it.

Welcome to KIC

Sounds like the name might somewhat jive with Rivertown then. If it jives with a log ride.

If it is I can dig it............I hope they use the same lights along wwc line ( old line)  to line the queue.

I find it a little bothersome that some people already know the name and are making speculations from that. Shame on the employee who shared with someone too early. Hopefully we have a regular red herring on our hands and those that know the name will be surprised to learn it's something different. But I am getting a since of a little bit of disappointment looming. Though I'm very excited KI will be getting a new experience at all. We shall see

It's related to Rivertown but based on the supposed name it's hard to tell what the hell they have up their sleeves

Don't have an answer to the Roku question!

I just set up my Roku for Livestream. I did a search for the channel, subscribed to it, and did a search for "kiproject2017" i didn't sign up for Livestream on Ruko, though, It didn't ask.

Just sign in using facebook. took me less then a minute. For anyone that doesn't want to take the time to create an account for Livestream. I saw someone in Don's thread that said they didn't want to take the time.

No, I said I didn't see the point in signing up for a website that I will only visit one time.  Besides, why did KI set up the YT link if it's not going to be used?

Never know when it comes to Kings Island.

I'm happy we're getting something new. Still holding out hope for an RMC

Also the supposed name is two words... I can't think of a roller coaster that has a two word name. Enlighten me if you do.

Stay safe and dry everyone a storm is moving just West of Harrison now.

Do you have a guesstimate on how long before it hits us? Thanks in advance!

I don't think it was you that I saw saying that...
