Poor thing. Shake Rattle and Roll is in rehab, according to a statement purportedly released by her agent. At least she admits she has a problem. That's the first step on the long road to recove

I get text message notifications whenever Kings Island PR posts a tweet for the purpose of "Tweet-Ups" and I had a lump go in my throat when I saw a tweet come across saying "A popular attraction is l

Kennywood is well worth the drive. I would make the trip annually from here on out, if I could.

After the buy one, get one sale they had last fall, this has been a VERY busy year for Kennywood. Hopefully, the in park per caps made it worth it.

If you visit Kennywood, make sure to avoid the special deal days. (Passholder bring-a-friend-cheap, buy-one-get-one admission tickets, etc) It wasn't crowded at all when I went.

I didn't ride the Flying Coaster or most of the other flat rides. I need to return at some point. Perhaps venturing further east to Knoebels as well.

Those from Cincinnati might combine Kennywood with a trip to Cedar Point to save a considerable number of miles.

Just make sure you do Cedar Point first so that it doesn't completely disappoint you.

If that's the standard, figure out a way to detour through Jackson, New Jersey on the way home.

Terp...trying to be good.

That's a lot of miles! I bet a trip like that would be one great adventure!

The rehab a ride can get during the off-season can vary greatly. During an off-season tour of Cedar Point a few years ago, the Wave Swinger ride was completely missing similar to SR&R. Bryan Edwards explained that some rides are completely dismantled some years and other years are left mostly in place.

I like SR&R and hope that it makes a come back. I believe this ride came from Coney Island? If so that is more incentive to keep it.

I don't think that it did. It isn't on my 1972 Park Map, so if it did come from Coney, it was left in storage for a while and put up later.

I think that was his way of "deleting" a double post.

No.

It wasn't.

Some posts have been deleted.

Others that should have been got otherwise taken care of.

Life is good.

The sign is now gone also.

The "temporarily closed" sign or the sign with the ride's name?

^But keep in mind, links being removed is certainly not a good omen, at least not for the foreseeable future. If it is to return, it will almost certainly be out quite a while. Just because the website is sitting on the server means nothing. Thunder Alley's page remained on the server long after the attraction was demolished.
