Lovin' the new paint job. Can't wait to see wait to see what they do with the station, as well, even if it is ends up being just a subtle change. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the end result.

If I recall correctly, Don has said that the station won't be changing drastically, but I don't remember where this was mentioned.

Anyway, I hope they add sound effects and or themeing to the line as you walk back towards the station. Maybe some bat sounds coming from the trees.

But lets be honest... they wont.

Bat screeches and Banshee wails will get annoying if you stand in line a long time especially after the newness wears off.

That's why I think at the top of the lift the Banshee scream works. Riders get it, that won't get old being in the ride I would bet.

Bat sounds...I don't know, the paint and name enough sold me.

I think the point of the Banshee where it picks up max speed would be a cool place to do it. Other than that no thank you.

The only thing I have with max speed is you're going to not even be there a second. By the time you hear it you're passed it

I don't think you'll hear it that often on the ground. Think of beast lift hill or Adventure Express. Both are pretty loud but honestly in queue or station do you ever really hear it? It would only be an on ride think

The Beast's lift hill music is very loud if you are on the ground near the lift hill...The station and queue are far enough away that you don't hear it there. I would assume the situation would be the same for AE's sound effects.

Yes the speakers are on the ground and you are near the lift hill. Its going to be different for a lift hill 167 feet straight up even directly under it

Yes a sound effect at the top of the lift would not be bad. Something like Holiday World does with Legend.

I am still one of the people that doesn't like the change of the name, but I have to say that the ride is looking good with its new facelift so far. I would like to see modification to the cars, or even themed Bat Shaped cars to go along with it. Maybe bring back some theming underneath the loading station, kind of a cave feel. It might change my thoughts on the switch to The Bat.

But in my heart it will always be Top Gun haha.

I like the name change. I have a tendency to call rides by old names though.

I don't struggle with calling that one Beastie nearly as much since I was maybe 10 when that change occurred and my trips to KI were just one to two times a year at that time. I have called it Scooby Doo on more than one occasion though.

Seriously, is it called Woodstock Express now? We rarely go to that area now. I probably cannot tell you most of the current ride names in that section.

I cheered for the fact that I was sick of staring at it with the knowledge that I would never ride it again, but I was sad to see it go for the sake of how much I loved it.

I was like "OHMYGOD. SHE WAILED AT HIS DEATH!" But then I was like "Oh wait. That means he's dead. This sucks. *cries* "
