With the recent anouncment of Boomerang Bay.Will Kings Island ad any othere ride for 2004?

Being that the project seems to be a major addition to the park(Im sure there is some major money involved)

Im curious to see if anything else will be added to next years lineup.

anybody have any clues yet?

I was thinking that somewhere it was stated that there will be another attraction added. Not sure if I'm correct, though. I would like to see another thrill ride, maybe something from Huss, possibly land of the giants.

In the latest press release on PKI.com for Boomerang Bay, this is stated:

"There are more surprises in store for 2004, with additional exciting announcements to follow in the months ahead," Ross added.

Im gonna go with other speculation and say we will probably see a new flat, and maybe other minor changes around the park.

Id bet its gonna be a jump 2. Ill put a dolla on it.

I think if we get a Huss, it will go in the bay, and definitely be water related. Maybe a Huss Delirium ( not to be confused with our Huss Giant Frisbee). As far as land of the giants is concerned, I think eventually we will have one of each of the rides, but I don't think it will ever be concentrated as its own area, but instead spread throughout the park.

land of the giants is not likely cause they'd have to move TR:TR and Delirium to fit there, so basically i'm gonna say no land of the giants even though the plan for that thing is awesome.

Didn't Shaggy say in another post that we aren't getting a Jump 2, or "Jump squared" as he called it.

I don't expect too big of additional "Suprises for 2004" in terms of rides but hey I don't know. Maybe another new 3D ride with Sponge Bob on one side. Maybe a new paint scheme for the Eifel Tower (haha, wouldn't that be funny)

The Delirium isnt supposed to be ready until 2005-06, so doubt that.

I think one of the Huss Giants would be great.

It would be really cool to see the "wet one" over

the small lake behind the Antique Cars other track.

Even if it isn't the "wet one" over top of the small lake

would be cool.

i know this is not likely....but wouldn't a topple tower be better.... put in rivertown over the lake and it would be an instant hit, and it would go well with TR:TR near it

i would like to know what everyone else thinks about this

I'm not to fond of the Topple Tower idea... Never seen one before so I can't judge.

Surprise is such a big word, could mean anything. Doesn't have to be a ride, now does it? Maybe it could be more restrooms and other aesthetic improvements. To some, that'd be a surprise. I am not saying that there that the possibilty that the 'surprise' is a ride is not there, I'm just trying to keep people from being too overly angry should the 'surprises' be something other than a wonderful, awesome, ride. But here's to hoping for a ride, albeit small hope. I'm just happy for Boomerrang Bay right now.

No that you mention it, maybe we are getting another new restaurant for next year? I like Mandarin, and another new one, wouldn't hurt us at all. Hopefully there is another ride in there somewhere, or some aesthetic improvements.

Well I've seen the topple tower site, just haven't seen a real one.

That's because there aren't any real ones YET.

Well a topple tower over the lake would definatly be cool.

Maybe theme it to a ship and call it Titanic.(isn't titanic a paramont movie?)

Although I still think a nice Inverted coaster (Alpengeist,Raptor) over that lake would be even a better idea Have it dive over the water maybe a water splash or two with your feet just dangling inches from the lake.

Maybe Im just a coaster fiend? Who knows.

Also I wouldn't be surprised if the shows are redone for next year too. In my opinion they've gotten stale and the high interest in Spellbound might lead to other newer "non-traditional" shows at the park.
