We did not mention all the statistics during the announcement because statistics are not what make a roller coaster great; it's the ride experience it delivers that makes it great.

  • It's good to see me, isn't it? No need to respond! That was rhetorical. Under 30 days until Banshee makes its public debut! We can't wait for you to come out and experience this ride.

We have guests that are more excited about our live shows than our roller coasters, that visit the park specifically for the shows. For these guests, the Cirque Imagine announcement was as exciting as

10:04 AM on January 23rd, 2014, track work on the worlds longest inverted roller coaster, Banshee, was complete,

4,124ft of track! Well done Kings Island, well done Banshee crew! Kings Island is now hone to the world's longest inverted roller coaster, and B&M's fastest inverted coaster!

I could be wrong but isn't it the second fastest? I honestly do not know.

At the announcement I think they said it was B&M's fastest invert.

It is B&M's fastest invert but there's an invert down in Doswell, Virginia that still holds the record for worlds fastest invert.

Ok, can anyone do a screenshot of the temporary schedule now?

I sent it to you in email. With the warning we were given about links only with social media and all, I did not want to go against that request. I could over think it, but wanted to be safe.

I hope I did this right with how you are all wanting us to post photos on here....

Please link directly to park social media and do not imbed the pictures in the forums. Thanks.

What am I supposed to do now? I am in the habit of checking the Banshee cams every five minutes.

Only one more davidw update to go! A very important piece of Banshee is still not on the premises (possibly not even in this continent yet).

It is B&M's fastest invert but there's an invert down in Doswell, Virginia that still holds the record for worlds fastest invert.

Or the fastest non-launched invert.

Easy to win when specifics are involved ;)
