I have a question for Don. Do you have any advice for those of us who want to one day work in a parks PR department?

My question for Don would have to be this: How often (if ever) do you get to walk around Kings Island in the winter, and what's it like seeing the park covered in snow?

Im pretty sure Don walks around the park whenever he wants,and snow at the park doesnt mean a dang thing to him! Just my opinion!

Seeing a wooden coaster back in the woods, with snow covering it has to be pretty beastly!

I spoke to my wife about coasting for kids, she is an RN in Columbus who would like more detail if you could provide Don? We would love to donate and ride! She made my day,she said she can handle marathoning Racer! Lets do it! Im going to warn you, better have both trains running! It was asked of all Coasting for Kids participants to remain in the Coney Mall area by The Racer until all areas of the park were open at 10am so guests weren't going through areas of the park that were not open, unescorted. It is important that all participants follow the guidelines that have been established when parks have these types of events.

Because we are part of a publicly traded partnership with Cedar Fair Entertainment Co., we do not release attendance info on an individual park basis. What I can tell you is Diamondback quickly established itself as one of the most popular rides in park history. People have come from all over the world specifically to ride it.

The area where the Kings Island Hall of Fame resides near the KI Theater is a location that we have discussed adding a park history piece to at some point.

When does the park start to prepare for the next season and how much time does it take to get the park ready and open? How many people are on these crews?

Within hours after the last day of the season preparations begin for the next season in each department. Sometimes you'd like to have more time, but we're always ready to go when the bell rings on Opening Day.

Pizza and fresh-cut thick fries are my favorite food items but some of the menu items that were added last year like the cheese steaks at the Snake Pit in Rivertown and the Italian Sausage that was out in Soak City are knocking at the door. There was a time when a hot dog with chili and a large Mello Yellow from the Lunch Basket (now Skyline Chili) in Coney Mall was what I had every visit.

The two dollar Italian sausage with peppers in Soak City during the Haunt was the Slam! Place a sausage wagon next to the fries by the train station in Rivertown! Please?
