OK the guy is walking the track with a hard hat on.

Hes either

1. Maintenance personal

2. One of the rides builders and the ride during that time was not finished all they

3. On a tour with a group o f people walking the ride.

Well, I'm gonna go a little bit of a different way than sobrider on this one. Here's my guess: The guy probably hopped out of the train while it was stuck and then had his girlfriend take his picture. (I guess it really wouldn't have had to been his girlfriend, maybe just a regular guy friend. Or maybe it was someone he didn't even know. Of course, I personally wouldn't take some nutty guy's picture on the track...not unless the price was right.) That doesn't explain the hat, though. You'd think that if he was wearing that on a rough woody it would have fallen off. Maybe he glued it to his head, I don't know.

You know what that just shows how large these coasters, are.

You know what that wouldactually be pretty cool to walked on a coaster like Beast or Son of Beast. Yes, I know thats not either of them, but it would be cool because you could see into all of the mechanics of the ride and how exactly everything works and functions( breaks, sensors, etc.)

What ride is that? It's obviously not SoB because the lift hill runs parallel with the station, unlike SoB where the lift runs right in front of the station.

That coaster is Wild Cat at Celebration City in Branson, MI. The guy standing along side the track is one of its designers after completion of the circuit... nothing to freak out about.

Sure its probably safe if he were wearing a fall arrest harness.

Are you sure it is Wild Cat, it looks more like Thunderhead. huh.gif

Well, it could be a place other than PKI...

Odds are he's a worker, so the controls are probably locked out and it would be almost impossible for a train to be launched while he's on the track like that...

I would hate to see the aftermath, however, if a train were launched and he didn't get out of the way...

Wow, I'd love to ride a launched woodie. Where is this ride?

I look at that picture and laugh. Unsafe? Sure! If the ride was actually in operation. It's obvious that the ride is not running. I think it's more of a funny picture than a "OH MY GOD...THIS IS TERRIBLY UNSAFE!! THIS GUY MUST BE NUTS!!!"
