I was reading on Wikipedia about The Beast and it said it opened on Friday, April 13, 1979. I just thought that was kinda strange. I know this is random, but I thought I should share. Maybe Friday the 13th isn't totally bad luck, as The Beast seems to have done well. OR, maybe the date that it opened is the reason it is haunted (if you believe that)?

I believe that date was the Media Preview, and April 14th, Saturday, was Opening day.

Oh. But the first none-park associated riders were on the 13th, which I still find interesting.

Note those are Carowinds names....the ones at KI may or may not be similar/the same.

Yes, but back then it was Paramount's Kings Island though i too am a bit surprised they put the penny pinchers in that description. Usually, CF seems to dislike talking about the certain era between 93 and 06.
