I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to join the walkback. I am an ACE member. I know you have to be at the ACE stone near that store, but last time I went no one came up to the stone. Is it everyday? Can I bring my twin brother with me? He will be joining ACE later this summer, but doesn't have a card.

Yes, the walkback is everyday. Were you at the stone on time? If you were, sometimes it's easy to miss the group for the walkback if it's a smaller group. Just try it again, and wait for a PKI employee to walk up to that area, and just follow everyone that's following the PKI employee.

What time is the walk back at? I've gone to join one day but I guess I was way too late.

You are supposed to be there at 9:15. Sometimes the walkback will leave around 9:30ish, and sometimes it will leave just barely before the rides open. It depends on whether The Beast is ready or not.

I was there at 9:00 a.m. so maybe I was too early.

Does anyone know if they would let me bring my twin brother along?

The walkback is where ACE Members are taken back to The Beast before the ride opens for ERT.

Um, ACE walkbacks are not everyday.

Also, you have to meet at he stone. I had some people come up to me the other day at my rope wanting to get in for The Beast walkback and I wouldn't let them in. They have to be escourted by marketing or GR to get back to the walkback. If you think you have missed the walkback, go to GR under the frontgate and they will be able to help you out.

Without an ACE card your twin brother won't be able to go back unless there is some other prove that he is an ACE member.

ACE walkbacks have gone to SOB, F/O, Beast and Delirium before, but most of the time it is just for Beast.

So, if they are not every day, then what days are they on?

I could be wrong. I have never seen a walkback everyday... that could just be b/c there aren't any ACErs to walk back at all? I guess if we had some ACErs everyday that they would be allowed to walk back... again, just check with GR when you get to the park and ask them.

Since I work in GR, let me clarify some things:

1.) The ACE walkback IS everyday. Some days there aren't any ACErs to walkback or they dislike the ride chosen. For example: I got to do the walkback today for GR but The Beast was going to be opening late due to weather, so when I told the 4 members waiting that we would be going to Delrium instead they decided not to go. Most days it's a GR manager, who will have a nametag on that says "Guest Relations" and "Area Manager" at the bottom. Sometimes us lowly associates (usually returners) get to do it if the manager is too busy.

2.) The walkback is usually around 9:45 or so. Most of the time The Beast won't open until 5 or 10 minutes prior to regular opening, so there's no point in hurrying back there. As long as you're at the stone at 9:30 and just wait til 10 then you didn't miss it. And yeah, if you have doubts then check with the Front Gate.

3.) I do not usually card the ACErs. The managers do and are required to, but if it's 4 people then I don't usually bother. I just walk over to the stone and ask "Anyone an ACEr?" Whoever replies correctly gets to go. I've had kids go back that aren't ACE members but they can't be left behind, etc. So I'd say you're riskin it if you bring your brother/sister/cousin/whatever since you SHOULD have a card to ride.

4.) We always, ALWAYS, try to go to The Beast. If for some reason that ride is not going to open on time (like today) then we will either pick SoB or Delirium as a substitute. We know that The Beast is our cash cow and we know that the ACErs usually want to ride that one most.

As far as bringing a guest on the walkback, according to Jeff Siebert who occasionally walks the people back, you are allowed a guest.
