Seen the new SDATHC AD?

Featured Replies

It shows an uncovered car with 4 people in it, 2 rows. And it shows them shooting red lasers. The red lasers are undestandable, but there is a different umm... carriage.

It could have been a modified carriage for the commercial so that you could see the people's faces better. We do have some of those carriages.

I'd put my money on another Scooby ride at another Paramount park. All the Mini-Mystery Machines at PKI are the same with the exception of some PKI decals on a few. The carriages you speak of DragonLord don't exsist at PKI.

Hmm, from the tower last year before Scooby was built, you could see something that looked like those cars behind PT.

yea, that was strange to me.. wondering why they 'false' advertised.. made my parents curious also when they got on the ride, and thought the design would be totally different..... dry.gif

It wouldn't be false advertising. All amusement/theme parks do all of these things it was probably a lot cheaper.

I beg to differ. False Advertising is just how it sounds. They are advertising a ride with a different car, giving people a different impression of the ride. Indeed, this isint hurting anything, but still, i dont think it would be very expensive to produce a correct scooby video.

Inexpensive, Yes. Would it show a family of 4 having fun together on the ride? No. I think that was the point. And maybe they had one of those type of cars and stuck it on the track to shoot the commercial. More outrageous stuff has happened.
