Not that i have anything wrong with the new shrip joint as as i enjoyed it at PKD last year. Before i complain let me ask a question. The favirote food of mine in the park was the chicken bbq sandwich they had there, do they have it someplace else in the park? I can see why the closed it down hardly anyone ever went there. Is thier anyone that can answer my question? or feels the same way?

I think it is being offered at Tuckers. Not 100% certain on that, I know they are serving the pulled pork BBQ, not sure about the chicken.

I don't think that Preston T. Tucker's Roadside Cafe is offering the chicken BBQ sandwiches. I'll check on my next park visit.

What kind of restaurant is this? Is it going to be sit down and order or get your food and sit down like every other PKI restaurant?

It's going to be a grab your food and sit resteraunt. Hopefully KI will get a sit down with free refills.

Free refils think about. Like the park would do that lol and turn down the money. It would be cool though.

They really need a "sit down" resturant. It always makes it a little bit nicer. Plus, it makes your day a little more relaxing. I bet they think no one has time.

I think that if the park had a place to get away from the crowds of the park for a while then people would stay in the park longer. A sit down restraunt would do just that. Free refils would rock.

The pizza place at Cedar Point gives free refills, and if it's a sit down resteraunt I could see that happening, because you couldn't walk around with the drink.

Technically it will be a "sit down" restruant. They are adding more seating to the place, now not all of it will be inside like at Festhaus or Wings, though KI will most likely never have a sit down restruant like where people come and serve you.

Now Sharky's on the other hand, they are supposed to start the "order and deliver". This means you order and someone will bring it to you. Though I can't gaurentee that.

Acutally, one of the restaurants at Paramount`s Carowinds had free refills. I do not remember which one it was, (I visited in 2001) but I know that it served Pizza (LaRosa`s if I`m not mistaken.) I also believe it was near the Flying Super Saturator. If PKI were to recieve a restaurant that had free refills, that would make it extremely popular, with out having it be sit down with waiters and waitresses.

I would settle for one restaurant with FREE refills for Gold Pass holders. Then I wouldn't have to keep a pop cooler in my car.

Kings Island is the only park that serves LaRosa's Pizza. This is because its a Cincinnati food, just like Skyline. The restuarant you are talking about CoasterRZ is Carowind's "Wings Diner" that serves free refills. I ate there when I went on opening day and got refills. They do serve a pizza like the LaRosa's at KI but it is a different company. I only know this because I talked with my old boss, now the food director at Carowinds (Chuck Perkins) and he took me around that day and told me about everything.

I`m fairly certain Paramount`s Carowinds serves LaRosa`s. In fact when I visited in 2001, the park map said that that restaurant served LaRosa`s famous pizza.

larossa's is a local company but i belive u that they would serve pizza up there. It's a big market a chance to make money.

Like I said before... Carowinds does not serve LaRosa's Pizza. Yeah the pizza is like LaRosa's with the same type of dough and stuff, the sauce and cheese and everything is not LaRosa's.

They are a lot alike, but Carowind's pizza is not LaRosa's.

Well, according to their 2001 park map it was LaRosa`s pizza. I had it and it tasted like Larosa`s. Now you may be right and it might just be a copy of LaRosa`s. But if it is a copy, its a pretty darn good copy of LaRosa`s pizza.

Actually it could possibly be LaRosa's. You can get the pizza shipped anywhere, and if a big company like Paramount wanted it, I bet they could get it.

All they have to do is ship the boxes of "LaRosa's Pizza Sauce," just like they do for Kings Island. That's the only unique thing about the pizza. I believe it.

Yeah it's going to be called Lt. Dan's Liquor Stand or something along that line. I think there used to be a bar in the Festhaus a few years back. It was the actual bar off the Cheers set.

One, like I said, I talked to the food manager of Carowinds when I was there on opening day, he said it was NOT LaRosa's but it was like it.

Two, yes there will be a bar at Bubba Gumps. Supposedly at 38ft bar with actual mixed drinks (I think) unlike the "back bar" that used to be on Gardens and only sold Beer. I have seen something about Lt. Dan's Liquor Stand, but I'm not sure if there actually will be a name to it or not.

Three, there was never an actual bar in Festhaus that I know of. There may have been, but none that I know of. The only place that I ever knew to have a full bar was in the International Restuarant.

Thats cool. It will be nice to be able to get something to drink other than Beer and Pop. On those really hot days, beer just doesn't cut it.

One things for sure, mixed drinks go down a heck of a lot better on those hot days, than any beer ever will. Some of us are old enough and mature enough to enjoy ourselves with a little refreshment now and then.

fyrfyter, those other people are the ones that think alcohol should not be in the park. Seeing as how I'll finally be 21 in a month. I will enjoy a cold beer, or whatever, when i eat at the park as a guest. I'm not going to get plastered cause i'll most likely puke on a ride and i don't like to puke.

I was wondering if they would sell merch too!, also do you think that the viking hip could ever be turned into a shrimp ship like in the movie????
