February 22, 200323 yr It would be so cool if they where clearing the land by The Beast so they could put the pound back in. But I dont ever see that happening.
February 22, 200323 yr The two land clearings are most likely places for either a coaster that spans between them, a J2 by beast, or a coaster from FOF to behind SOB.
February 22, 200323 yr I think it will be a groundbreaking stand up coaster, probably behind The Racer, and will be heavily themed, like Adventure Express.
February 22, 200323 yr I have been hearing a lot of talk about the new coaster being a B&M speed coaster. Does anyone know what a B&M speed coaster is. Examples would be good.
February 22, 200323 yr I'm sorry I can't help you Enter The Vortex but I wish I could. I would like to see a coaster like Goliath, it would be a good attraction to have for the more advanced riders!
February 22, 200323 yr A B&M Speed Coaster is a hyper coaster. The rollercoaster is all about speed and airtime. A few examples are Nitro, Raging Bull, and Apollo's Chariot. Click below to see the coasters. Nitro Raging Bull Apollo's Chariot
February 22, 200323 yr I would like a coaster like Nitro at PKI, that would be an awesome ride to have in the park! I have ridden Nitro and that ride is high, fast and there is a great load of air time too, it a great ride!!!
February 22, 200323 yr I would like to have a speed coaster as well, they give great amounts of air time, very comfortble, and have open air sides!
February 22, 200323 yr ok, here you go. New for 2004, SON OF COBRA!!! DADDYS DEAD AND HIS SON IS MAD!!! hahahahahaha j/k.
February 22, 200323 yr I do like the open side they are fun, esspecially on highly banked turns!!!! On Nitro, that a great attraction to ride with the open air sides!
February 22, 200323 yr If they ever make a second King Cobra It would Probably be called Cobra's Revenge because K. Cobras are said to follow the people who mess with them so it would be a little more acurate.
February 22, 200323 yr Pki needs a real big air time coaster now that King Cobra's gone Bckwds Racer is the only good airtime... except for Vortex!
February 22, 200323 yr If you keep your lap bar up enough on SOB, you can get some killer airtime on the first drop. Also on the loop if you sit in the back seats. I think Vortex has the best airtime though.
February 22, 200323 yr Vortex has great air tim in the back, I'm not to fond of the front iar time because you slam in to the restraints too much.
February 23, 200323 yr If the third ride was a coaster, wouldn't we be seeing more activity in the PKI skyline (cranes, an actual coaster), and seeing parts in the area around the park (parking lot, etc.)? I doubt the third attraction is anything besides Spongebob, because that involves hardly any delivery. If it was anything else, I doubt the park would be so quiet. And when Jeff said "a good ride to jump on," I doubt he was being literal. Maybe he meant it would be a quick ride, like a ride that people go by and say, "oh, i think i'll ride that," like shake, rattle and roll, or zephyr. Just a thought. Or maybe the "third attraction" will be something for 2004, that is announced early, due to a long construction period (like SOB).
February 23, 200323 yr I agree with you 100% unless they are putting the parts back somewhere else beside the parking lot.
February 23, 200323 yr that is totally what i was thinking.. they would announce a coaster for 2004 and then build it through the summer and winter and have it done for the next season. -zoid
February 23, 200323 yr Yeah, they still have part of King Cobra behind Sob and not too many people know about that! so I'm sure PKI could hide a part to a new coaster very easily!!!! Let's hope they are hiding something because I want to be surprised!!!!!
February 23, 200323 yr King Cobra's Parts are behind SOB, it's trains and SOB's third train are in the red barn by Racer I believe, the old FOF trains are right behinde Drop Zone, KCKBC boats are by water works etc etc etc. Edited January 1, 197056 yr by Coasterguy107
February 23, 200323 yr I thought The red barn behind Racer is where they take the cars in the winter to be taken apart the put back together for inspection duning off season. Or that's what I have heard in the past! Don't jump all over it if it is wrong, please! Edited January 1, 197056 yr by PKICoasterFreek
February 23, 200323 yr I think that's right... I know that I have seen Sob's train and KC's trains there before.
February 23, 200323 yr The third SOB trains are definetly not in the barn. They are elsewhere now temporarily. Trust me, there is no new coaster for 2003, maybe 2004 like the title of the topic says. The third ride is known by almost everyone but you won't hear the park advertise it until after the park opens because it will not open with the park come April 12th. A new ride will be coming in 2004, though not sure if it is a coaster or not. Though if not the coaster will be coming soon there after.
February 23, 200323 yr There is definatly NO coaster for '03. First, there would have been alot of hype about it to get people to come and ride. Second, there would have been parts in the parking lot. Third, there would have been an actual coaster appearing.
February 23, 200323 yr ok from what ive seen in the past season, the king cobra trains lay in the bottom of Flight of Fear. i know this because earlier in the season while riding i could actually see them down there. but keep in mind that was in the beginning of the 2002 season and they could have been moved. as for the track etc, that does remain behind Son of Beast gathering rust i know that for a fact because ive been back there and seen them for myself oh and FYI, expresses trains remain by the HVAC building and PKIU by kiddie land.
February 23, 200323 yr King Cobra trains in Flight of Fear? Hmmmm.... I was wondering, will Son of Beast ever run three trains?
February 23, 200323 yr The thing that what said about the coaster in 2003 is not necessarily correct. If it was a wild mouse, and it was in the space between it and tomb raider, then there is good chance that we would know nothing about it until the park opened. The pieces could be brought in through the back roads as well as the machinery. SO,....a wild mouse we could find at the park, when it opens, with little to no evidence of it before hand. But, a full sized coaster, is a totally different story.
