I think the colors are off... and the remaining parts on the bottom still don't match. But I'm sure more work will be done on it.

i guess this is because i was used to it, but i like the i in Kings Island better when it was just dotted not have a flag over it even though all the other Cedar Fair parks do to.

Yes the bottom part of the sign will be repaired/painted to match the rest of the sign.

I like it. Maybe they will repave the park lot next and add some nice shrubs. Remember the parking lot is the first and last things the guest does.

The night photos of the sign look really nice. You'll notice that in the darker hours, you'll be able to see a white halo behind the lettering.

I've never given that much thought, but it's absolutely true.

does anyone know the new names of Kings Islands rides? because local 12 said along with the new sign there will be rides with different names.

Tomb Raider:The Ride = The Crypt

Italian Job:Stunt Coaster = Back Lot Stunt Coaster

Face/Off = ? Not heard a new name yet.

Drop Zone I think will stay the same.

Although none of these names have been announced for KI, they have for Great America & Kings Dominion. So, it's a safe bet KI will follow suit.

That's true, it doesn't matter what the name of the ride is, is how the ride performs that matters.

Doesn't really matter what they rename them. People will always call them by the name they remember by.

Hey i take offense to you saying that people still call them by their old name. Just kidding but i really do i.e. Outer Limits, The Beastie, and other stuff.

A co worker called me a couple weeks or so ago all excited on her way to Kentucky and said "you will never guess what I passed on a flat bed on my way to Kentucky! The new Kings Island sign!!"

I thought that was pretty funny!

That was much better then the sad call I got several months ago from someone who passed Dominator on a flatbed in Solon heading to KD. Bummer
