Possibilty of an Extended Season

Featured Replies

I posted this in the 2008 Pass thread, but here it goes:

In looking at the official 2008 pass page at pki.com I noticed a certain recurring date:

111107

November 11, 2007

This is the day the free parking for renewing a 2007 pass ends, this is the day the jacket pick up ends, this is the day the posted rates are valid through.

In the past, the deadline for the Early Bird pass specials was the last operating day of the season. By using that logic, I wonder if the park is about to extend its season. Specifically to add November 3, 4 10, 11 to the 2007 operating calendar.

What do you think?

It would be nice if we had an extended season weather permitting. However, if I am not mistaken, CP's specials on season passes always ended in November after the operating season ended. Therefore, I doubt that the end of the KI season pass specials in November means an extended operating season.

I doubt it as well, the weather at the end of October is unpredictable on it own. Not to mention the first few weeks of November. It could snow. They however did extended the season until October 31st for HH. HH will be open Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday that week from 7pm till 12am.

"Jackets will be available for pick-up at the park from 10am - 4pm between October 28, 2007 and November 11, 2007."

I kind of doubt CF would be willing to risk having days in November. That could be a big loss if they don't have a discounted weekend.

If this helps, I work at KI and our stand's final clean-up days are scheduled currently for Nov 3 and 4, and I haven't yet heard otherwise...
