Kings Island 2021 Discussion
Makes leaving them a bit sillier but the logic of not needing a locker or worrying about losing them on a ride still remains. Getting my Dad to pay for a locker is harder than pulling a lions teeth!

Kings Island 2021 Discussion
You do realize some people are cheap? Why not save yourself 10 bucks if you're meeting someone in the parking lot anyway? And you can't blame their logic with how rare this kind of occurance is at Kings Island. You don't need to convince me of anything as I keep my keys on me.

Kings Island 2021 Discussion
They probably thought they were safer locked in their friends car than getting lost on a roller coaster. Can't say I haven't seen my family do it.

They’re Back this Year!
I could be wrong but I think the last time this brood came out it so happened to sinc up with another smaller brood making it larger than normal. I certainly recall it being the biggest I've ever seen.

Ride Wait Times 2021 Season
Diamondback has one switchback full on the webcam around a 30 to 40 min wait. That's the only queue really visible from the cams though. Strange that Banshee would be so crowded but not Diamondback. Hoping next Sunday isn't too bad since I can't make today.

Kings Island 2021 Food News and Reviews
I used the meal plan for a cfa sandwich Saturday no problem. Seems it is still available.

Kings Island 2021 Discussion
Wasn't it Diamondback that didn't have an increase? And I think Mystic Timbers was 2%. Also be careful when comparing percentages. Kings Island attendance is much higher than many other parks which makes for lower percentages. Additions may also be made simply to keep attendance up rather than increase it.

What about security guards?

Kings Island Raises Pay for Seasonal Associates
Everyone is worth $15 per hour. While you may take a second job many will give up their second job since they won't have to work two jobs. Given employment needs I don't see a job shortage. To answer you question, no I don't see a problem here.

Kings Island Raises Pay for Seasonal Associates
It's not being "handed to them" if they are working for it. It's not a handout. It wouldn't be a big change if we kept minimum wage up with inflation but we haven't. Now it's a much more painful fix. There is no need to raise other workers pay that has kept up with inflation, this pay has already raised. (The rest is not pointed at any person just a statement on it's own)For decades we have lived off others suffering, be that underpaid minimum wage workers here or sweatshops abroad. It needs to change. Don't short change workers and belittle them as beggars just because they work a minimum wage job. This isn't a political concern but an ethical one.

The end of B&M is coming?
That same park tore down a B&M to replace it with the exact same B&M. Must see something in them to do that.

The Top 10 Roller Coaster Collections in North America as of 2020 (based on Vote Coasters Poll)
Just an FYI you have Iron Gwazi under Fiesta Texas. Nice list but I'm not sure about counting racers twice. The list seems pretty solid though. Opinions will differ of course.

Discussing Land and Space in and around Vortex
This blueprint doesn't have any measurements. Could we be looking at giga bench?

Could Kings Island get a record breaking Dive Machine?
Have to disagree on the RMC part. RMC introduced a host of new elements and continues to do so. For example only Storm Chaser and Twisted Timbers have the inverting drop, Goliath has it's great stall out of a half loop and Outlaw run has a double corkscrew that is unique to RMC. While certain elements are repeated I think they have done an excellent job of differentiating their rides.

What if Geauga Lake never closed?
I would consider most of their parks as smaller local parks that don't need the attendance of bigger parks like Kings Island and Cedar Point. A larger population probably helps support more parks too. And while they may not be in Ohio there are a few parks within a few hours drive of Cedar Fairs Ohio parks.

Discussing Land and Space in and around Vortex
The biggest reason I could think of is to get a hot product. If Cedar Fair deemed the risk acceptable then I could see it happening. Especially if other installations show better reliability. I don't think this will happen but it's far from impossible. Cedar Fair has shown their relationship to be cordial in the past at least to the public.

Lost Gold Pass
I have done this before when my pass was lost before going to Knott's. This was a few years ago though.

Coronavirus Impacting Theme Parks
An app can do so effectively, cheaply and is already available. Convincing people would be the hard part. Could it combat other similar diseases? Yes.

Orion Reviews
What kind of cat are we talking about here? Not many are tall enough to ride...

Coronavirus Impacting Theme Parks
FYI its never been longest. Beast has it beat in both track length and duration.

Coronavirus Impacting Theme Parks
Maybe DeWine is upset that Orion opening means Diamondback isn't the biggest fastest tallest meanest coaster to ever strike Kings Island!!!!!

Coronavirus Impacting Theme Parks
I got an email from Six Flags Magic Mountain saying they are adding a free day to memberships for every day they are closed plus adding free perks. Who knows what else the industry will come up with but it seems like we may still get the value of our passes etc. Hopefully Kings Island won't need to follow suit.

CP Gets Class Action Lawsuit for Unpaid Overtime by Intern
I think there is plenty of in between there. A settlement is most likely and Cedar Fair can probably afford to pay for the overtime/lawsuit for one park.

Quiz Kings Island (T/F)
I think he means each year. Basically KI opens before the other parks that have a WindSeeker. Poor wording make this confusing as well as the question choice. Opening days change from year to year.
