  1. Yes. Disney knows themed area music. Take this Epcot entrance music for example. Majestic. Inviting. Inspiring. http://youtu.be/_kZDScT9wz0 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Maybe that scaffolding and Haunt entrance is staying, but maybe they'll de-spookify it for the summer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Kings Island's Halloween Haunt event is the same as any other normal operating day in the summer except: - There are creepy monsters (ScareActors) in the scare zones that jump out at you. - There are Haunted attractions (mazes) that are completely voluntary to go in. - there's fog - there's creepy music - park stays open till 1:00 - Soak City and Planet Snoopy are closed - different, creepier shows I'd say give it a try if you haven't been. Most new things are at least worth a try. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Trip Report From Last Year: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php/topic/29818-silver-dollar-city-7-3-14/?hl=%2Bsilver+%2Bdollar+%2Bcity
  5. welp, I'm not sure if it's been mentioned on here, but Downtown Disney is officially Disney Springs, and has been for a while now. And, only a few more months for DisneyQuest (which I have found, by research, is quite the expensive experience).
  6. I mean, that alone, is a more attractive entrance then what was there over the summer. Maybe this is what we get since a gate coaster wouldn't be ideal? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Is that thing staying year long? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. The No-Boo necklaces last year were very hard to see. This year, for $8.00, you can get a no-boo necklace that lights up in the dark and turns a bright orange all the way around the lanyard. That way, even if the ScareActor approaches you from behind, they should be able to see the lit-up ring of orange light around the back of your neck.
  9. I wouldn't have even noticed if you hadn't of pointed it out, that is quite concerning. Also random question: In the 2007 season did Kings Island have Paramount Kings Island merchandise on sale or was removed from the park completely? 2007 seemed to be the weird year. It was the first full season Cedar Fair had owned the park and was just then removing Paramount references but not all of them. The movie-themed rides would be renamed in 2008. For example: In this video, (about 14 seconds in) you can see that the sign in front of the royal fountain was simply the old Paramount's Kings Island sign but with the top Paramount mountain removed.
  10. Not exactly sure where to post this, I just found it quite funny. In this picture, https://www.visitkingsisland.com/images/page-banners/things_to_do_hdr2.jpg from this webpage: https://www.visitkingsisland.com/events/things-to-do/events-and-promotions/June-28-Bring-Your-Friends-Day the girl on the far right is holding a Coca-Cola cup that seems to have the old Paramount Parks logo at the bottom of the cup. Is Cedar Fair using marketing material from way back when? Almost 10 years ago?
  11. I think they should spook up Boo Blasters a little bit for Haunt. Maybe stick some monsters in the scenery.
  12. If they had a nice sizzling Pepsi, then that'd be the ONLY stand I go to. I do hope it retains the name "Tower Drinks," though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Busch Gardens Tampa does a fantastic job of providing elephant ears in their gift shops. I actually bought a pair for a friend of mine and they were quite nice.
  14. You can see in this video: that on the side of the flatbed truck it says "Cincinnati, OH". I'm assuming this means Mako was fabricated in the same place that Banshee was.
  15. Tax is included in the refill price for Next Year's regular (Green) Souvenir Cups. So instead of paying $1.06 ($1.00 + 6.75%), you'll simply pay $1.00 ($0.94 + 6.75%). No more dealing with coins.
  16. I'm sure tomorrow will be more crowded due to the weather.
  17. I do indeed have a 1-Day Magic Your Way ticket with the added Water Park Fun & More option. Interestingly, the 1-Day Water Park Fun & More options allows 2 admission tickets (instead of the expected 1 ticket) to the Water Park Fun & More destinations. My dad wants to go golfing with me at Disney's Oak Trail golf course, so there's one. The other could very well be DisneyQuest if it's a rainy day, or Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park if it's a sunny day. Pray for sun I guess?
  18. I did not know Disney Quest was closing in January. I guess I should visit there during my October trip, considering I've never been there before.
  19. So the ride didn't stop at all? Did he crawl back in? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Does anyone know when Disney Springs is suppose to be "Officially" completed?
  21. I wonder if Boo Blasters has these.... Hmmmm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. And that would NOT be a bad thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I know there are many, many tracks on its playlist, and I am trying to gather them all. If you know of a list online somewhere of WindSeeker's playlist or just know a couple songs yourself, please let me know below!
  24. As I walked out of the park on Monday night, Planet Snoopy had a LOT of Blue Ice Cream stains all over the midways by the Blue Ice Cream stand. Ah, yes. The "benefits" of $1.00 ice cream....
  25. I know P&G Dividend day is the 19th and 20th of September, as I will be in attendance with my family. I know I had a friend that came during September a few year's back because his family had someone working at General Electric, so the 13th very well may be GE's day of FUN.
