Fast Lane Price Raise?
If they were the only ones charging for it in the entire industry I would agree with you. But this is something that has been in place industry wide for many years, although KI's has a different model than those that have been doing it for a while. Let's see where this stands in a few years, will there be limitations added but still have the same price? I could see a limitation such as a limited number of rides per attraction eventually added.

Fast Lane Price Raise?
I highly doubt that it was run that way the entire day, but surely someone from these forums was at the park on Saturday and could back you up or say otherwise.

Fast Lane Price Raise?
It's about time...and I wouldn't be surprised to see it increase again before the season ends. I have always felt that the Fast Lane pass was underpriced considering the benefit it gives with few limitations.

Which Ride is Ridden the least?
A consistently short line does not necessarily mean an unpopular or least ridden ride, it could be that the ride is so efficient that there is rarely a line. I am also perplexed on why Racer is on this list. If you combine the 2 sides, it's the attraction that gives the most rides in the entire park every year.

Beast Incident 06-26-2012. Height Requirement Issue?
What exactly are you waiting on, a press release? The ride would not have opened 20 minutes later without them knowing what had happened. Chances are most of the delay was waiting for first aid to come out and clean the blood out of the train. I think some are making this a bigger issue than it actually is.

Surf dog (accidental) emergency stop.
On most rides you are correct there is not an override button for the operator to press. Although I know of at least one at our beloved park...

Surf dog (accidental) emergency stop.
Not exactly...Sounds as if there was another problem with the ride.

It's not the ride operator's job or responsibility to watch your stuff

Fast Lane
Is there such a thing as too successful? Maybe you meant to say that it's being utilized more often than they originally anticipated because of what they are charging. Don't be surprised if we see an increase in price at KI within the next few months if it remains as popular as it is right now. The question they are trying to answer is, at what price is FL not worth it?

Over night
If you figure in the next day's operation, the park would be open for about 37 straight hours (taking into consideration ERT on the first day starting at 9:00am and a 10:00pm close the following day)...again assuming you pick a time of the year when the park is open the next day. I completely agree from the business perspective. The additional labor cost alone would not make it worth it, plus you start getting into labor laws where certain age groups can't work after certain times. Keep in mind all of the cleaning of the midways/pathways is done over night therefore you wouldn't have the ability to "rinse" the pathways for close to 48 hours and risk your paths becoming a sticky mess.

Are there underground storm shelters at KI?
Unless there was another one built since 2005, BLSC's storm shelter is not underground.

Well while this topic is still open...this is the ride formally known as Runaway Reptar and now Flying Ace Aerial Chase

Thank you Ouimet!
The theme for this year's training is "The best day ever." No doubt that some ideas were used from Disney's world class customer service model.

What is your Backlot Stunt Coaster Expirience?
In the event that the train gets stuck in the "banked curve" (after weaving through the police cars), the rider is close to being inverted (espeically the one near the opening. Should one pass out from all the blood rushing to their head, the foot restraint is designed to keep you in the seat and not fall out. I don't believe that the ride has ever operated at 100% since opening as was intended/marketed. The helicopter scene was much better with all of the fire and water effects, however the hard water marks left on the cars did not go over well.

Fast Lane
http://attractionsmagazine.com/blog/2012/04/30/disney-and-universal-to-begin-testing-the-next-version-of-their-skip-the-line-passes/ Seems like this one is using more of the idea that we see when putting your name in at a local restaurant and calling your party from a waiting area to ride.
