Scooby Doo Auction
I'll be there... I'm off and there's no way I'm going to go opening weekend without riding the new rides.

Delirium and Scooby Pics
I hope they don't. I really think they did it right.

Bubba-Gump Shrimp Company...
I didn't see the metal detectors. Are they outside the garage doors that block off the entrance? Everybody on the inside in food (area managers, sups,...) is calling it Bubba Gump's, so Bubba Gump's is what I will be calling it. Are they going to tear the building down or just gut it? From the looks of things, I'd say they're just gutting it.

Delirium and Scooby Pics
It looks so cool, especially when you're right next to it. We got to watch it go a couple times. I was going to see if I could ride when I got off, but they were done for the day by then... It looks so cool when its moving.

What's Your Favorite PKI Food?
Blue Ice cream was at Scream Zone at the end of last year, it won't go away, its popular. People buy Ice cream no matter how cold it is, its so crazy. I think the best food in the park is the free stuff, Oscars... The sweet benefits of working in food.

Metal Detectors
Nobody said anybody was going to say deal with it when you get to the park. I know I wont. The fact of the matter, however, is that you will have to deal with it, and maybe when they find something like a gun on somebody, you'll realize why.

Metal Detectors
Under no circumstances should an employee fight with a customer. you're 100% right. And I never condoned it, never said it was right. All I'm trying to say is that this is there for your safety, and if you choose to complain about it, then go somewhere else. I am not talking as a representative of Paramount, I am saying this of my own opinion. Don't take it as though I were an employee. Its irrelevant. If you told me the metal detectors were stupid while I was on the job, I would politely present my case, and leave you to draw your own conclusions. But the point of this site, or one thing about it, is that I can be opinionated, and i am exercising that right. I am no lazy, dazed in it for the cash employee. I can't stand people like that. But please, realize that they are there for your safety, and its too bad if they shorten your day of fun. Its better then shortening your life, is it not?

Metal Detectors
I would never tell you to get over it in uniform, but the fact of the matter is that you have no reason to complain about something that is there for your own safety... Of course, people complain about having to push their lapbars down and the like, so i guess this shouldn't be surprising. And my last statement is - Rude employees are caused at least 75 percent of the time by rude customers. But I will not argue back if you come out fighting with me, I like my job better then that.

Metal Detectors
Anyone who isn't open to the metal detectors is just a typical American... You're the reason why other countries hate us. You have such a short attention span, and you are selfish. It inconvieneces you to have to walk through a metal detector, even though its for your safety, my safety, and the safety of everyone in the park. Grow up. Things like this are a way of life and will remain a way of life. Get used to it, or don't come to the park, because we don't need you there.

Plans for opening day?
Where are you taking the ACT? I'm taking it at Madeira. I might work in the afternoon though.

Location training!
For food, all the newbies have orientation on a day prior to in-stand, and then everybody comes for in-stand. At least I think it works that way. On the actual day of in-stand, I think we just clean up and learn anything we may have forgotten or that changed. Do you have to be in uniform though? Someone from food, like beastfreak, could you answer that?

Bubba-Gump Shrimp Company...
I know its a paramount thing, I just happened to say KI. Excuse me for my imperfections.
-
Bubba-Gump Shrimp Company...
But you will never see Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, or KFC in a Coke park, because they are owned by Pepsi. I wish KI would go Pepsi, that would be great. I love Pepsi and they have much better products than Coke.

A bit off topic...
Finneytown... approx 30 minutes from my place of employment.

FoxChannel
Yes, but they are talking about the sneak preview night on Thursday before the park opens. I know people who went last year, they got tickets for being in the opening day parade. Pass preview night is on friday.

PKI.com update
Well, I'm not majoring in anything. But uh, you can't really major in anything in high school. But next year, as a senior, I'll be taking AP Calc. Go me. I can be semi-cool, and semi-smart too. You know most of the cool people will work in ecology or be a janitor somewhere else when they grow up.

PKI.com update
Naturally it can only use gravity to a certain extent, the motor has to be engaged at all times so there is some friction on the downfall. And as far as me having too much time on my hands... all those formulas are memorized, and I spent less then two minutes each on both of those posts. Probably less then that. I spend way more time on the messageboard about my car then I do here. Much more pertinant information.
