  1. I'm glad we are seeing more PT merch at KI, I haven't seen it but I wonder if there was any PT merchandise that Kings Island sold in the 90s when the ride was new.
  2. Thats awesome! I'm hoping to see more PT merchandise, as I've said before I would like it if they made hats as well.
  3. I would like to see an ice show in there again, I think the last one I saw was a Snoopy themed one way back in 2010. Or this show I took back in summer of 2019... I forget the name of it; but I thought the concept was really neat!
  4. I rode Son of Beast in 2003 when it still had the loop, I was about 7 years old and when I rode it, it scared the living daylights out of me, to the point where I never rode it again. It was the loop that actually scared me I'm not sure why I didnt ride it again when they eventually removed the loop but it's too late now!
  5. My question is if Phantom Theater does return... does the big purple castle get removed completely or would it be reused but modified? Personally I think the purple castle should retire, it worked with the Scooby-Doo & Boo Blaster theming but in my opinion wouldn't work with a PT theming.
  6. Wow so many years later its funny how some people at the time were happy that Phantom Theater left Kings Island and nowadays most everyone is eagerly waiting for its return.
  7. I remember 2009, they were still doing the Scooby-Doo meet and greets and Nickelodeon was still big in the kids area. All the Paramount names had already been changed the previous year. I was in middle school at the time so I had been very oblivious to the fact that everything Paramount had been removed at that point. Oddly enough SpongeBob 3D was still in Action Theater in 2010, if anybody remembers that. I'm wondering if 2026 will be just like 2010 with all the rumors of Looney Tunes replacing Peanuts as well as the new ride replacing Boo Blasters.
  8. Has there been a ride at Kings Island that you have never ridden for as long as you've been going to the park? For me I have never ridden on Invertigo/Face/Off for the simple fact for the strongest reason its always down or not operating. There have been times when I was waiting in line and then almost to the front and then they would close the ride due to some mechanical problem, so what is a ride at Kings Island that you have never ridden before?
  9. II love posts like this, I would definitely sleep in this shed in Rivertown... some say creepy things happen there...
  10. Loving the new Phantom Theater shirt I bought on International Street... I'm hoping they come out with a hat to match it!
  11. That is true, I honestly heard when Phantom Theater closed in 2002 it was without warning and in the middle of summer.
  12. My wife and I got the brewhouse nachos... those were the BIGGEST nachos we have ever seen!
  13. Tonight waiting in line for Boo Blasters Guest: "When this was a Paramount park, this ride was themed to The Wizard Of Oz!"
  14. I agree it takes away from the spooky atmosphere a haunted house is supposed to have, whatever happened to people just looking at the scenery at just talking to your friends in line?
  15. I would love to see a Batman or Looney Tunes themed attraction in that area! Honestly I would just love to see Action Theater open again.
  16. Agreed, once a few years have settled I think things will be better, I felt the same after the Cedar Fair took over from Paramount.
  17. Guest: "I don't know why they are called Peanuts when they are clearly kids!"
  18. Ok there are a lot of different ideas to what is replacing Boo Blasters On Boo Hill, I made this poll to see what you all think will replace Boo Blasters On Boo Hill... let me know what you all think!
  19. I was hope so, I got it through the Kings Island email, I did think it was rather ridiculous when they talked about making The Beast longer!
  20. On The Beast, I love the slow rising chain lift hill... love the sound and the smell! (If you know what I mean )
  21. I remember last year Kings Island sent out surveys for possible ride ideas, one I remember was the extension of The Beast and the other was for a Peanuts screen based dark shooting ride... the concept art for the Peanuts ride looked very disappointing, I'm hoping KI doesn't go in that direction.
  22. I agree... honestly if PT does come back in some way I wouldn't care how they would do it as long as they dont use screens. Also The Speelunkers returned to Six Flags Over Texas in a very respectful way after a long hiatus, so if done right like that ride I can see it working out!
  23. I'm excited for whatever is replacing Boo Blasters, if they decide to bring back to Phantom Theater or even Scooby-Doo since Six Flags does have the rights to it or entirely new concept... I'm up for anything as long as its not a screen based attraction. Now the next question is... when will we find out whats replacing Boo Blasters?
  24. I wonder if this is how Kings Island would announce it...
