  1. Suspended is steel, right?
  2. This is so wrong, but kinda goes with the topic: http://www.mrlovenst...comic/281#comic Hover your mouse below the end for an extra panel (on the left).
  3. Ah, I thought they said he was still too short for Monster, but I was going by what they told me, didn't research myself.
  4. ^Agreed. My one friend said that when they have their kid with them at KI they don't leave Planet Snoopy, so they had no idea what the rest of the park has been like this year. Their son is now tall enough to ride the Scrambler. So they walked him all the way out there to try it, and after he rode it he didn't have anything else he was tall enough for so they walked all the way back to Planet Snoopy. It'd be nice if there was a little something more out there.
  5. The one dude has "shady" written all over him.
  6. ^ It would be like Inception. How many levels down can you go? A kids park inside a kids park inside a kids park? Can't be done. Unless you have a very powerful sedative.
  7. I'm out of likes Terpy....Sorry.
  8. I still have fun going even if I don't ride anything. But if your friends hate riding rides and watching shows and watching people ride rides....then maybe they won't have fun.
  9. Why are so many people checking out my profile today.... Wait...what's that say up there? Why thank you Master jcgoble3, how sweet. FYI, the story is out of date; I'm no longer 29.
  10. Yeah, you guys need to stop living in the past. Seriously.
  11. I loved the merry go round. I was always on Jabberjaw. Also remember riding the bumper cars (which we incorrectly used to call the "BammBamm Bumper Cars"). Also remember the house of cards. I remember the floors being crazy in there. I was too young to remember the original Enchanted Voyage (though I've been told that I rode it), but I distinctly remember really liking whatever it was that replaced it. Can't quite remember what they were that invaded that place.....hmm.....
  12. Video games. Any genre except for roller coaster games. Those are the worst, am I right? Maybe Disney stuff. I'd go for some of that. Seriously, I'd be down for souvenir maps, like PT said. Really surprised that they haven't been selling those all of these years. I really like that blue Kings Island shirt that they've been selling this year with the old logo and the original ride list from when the park opened. I just wish that the ride list was on the back of the shirt and the logo was the only thing on the front. That'd be cooler, IMO. I've also had my eye on The Beast metallic-looking car decal that I saw at one of the shops. Pretty sweet.
  13. I like that part on The Whip at Kennywood where you whip around the corner. Favorite feeling on any ride.
  14. Wait.....so do I have a case for representing this kid (Likely) in court, or what? I gotta pay dem billz.
  15. Maybe the kid's name is "Likely".
  16. ^Reputation as what? A Beast? It should ruin Diamondback's rep. Why is Diamondback called the park's "meanest" coaster? The Beast gives kids bloody noses (allegedly). What's meaner than that? Next it will be stealing their lunch monies.
  17. Uh, didn't Superman and Superman II do it first? Or the the Back to the Future sequels? Short memory on that person.
  18. You should have sued your sister. I bet she did it on purpose.
  19. I love theme parks. I rail against Paramount but that's because they did the theme thing badly with Kings Island, IMO. I prefer a great ride over slapping a theme on a ride thinking that it will make the ride great. But if Disney could come in and make Kings Island this magical theme park where everything was kept well and they didn't let themes die and collect dust; I'd be in heaven. Since that's not happening, I'm just fine with getting minimal theme but great fun.
  20. I wonder what would happen to Coke or Pepsi sales if they didn't advertise at all for a year. They seem like the kind of companies that don't really need to advertise. Who doesn't know what Coke or Pepsi is at this point (besides young kids)? It'd be an interesting study to see how many less sales they'd have with no commercials about their products. (This does not count advertisements for when stores have Coke or Pepsi on sale). Would they actually get more money by saving on the advertisements? Of course, they'd be losing out on brand recognition for the young kids, but it seems like an interesting thought.
  21. I liked them when I was younger. Seemed like a fun last little relaxing ride after the long day at the park was over. At this point it would be nice to ride in them so that I don't have to worry about tripping in a pot hole out in the dark.
  22. I'll start parking out in the lot and using my car as a locker. 5 bucks all day. Any takers? I'll even keep guard.
  23. Chuck Norris stopped me once.
  24. People seem to like WindSeeker. Line's been full every time I've gone to KI this year.
