  1. ^ Awesome Stephen! Same kind of thing happened with me in 2011. I didn't have to make any walks of shame, but I was darn close. I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to fit on some of the CP coasters. During the off season I lost 46 pounds and come 2012 I had room to spare on everything. Was such a great feeling to get on a ride with confidence and not have to worry if I'd need someone to push on the bar to make sure I got the right amount of clicks. I never want to get to that point again. But I do plan on going back to the Point this year and ride those coasters with no worries!
  2. Strap a cheetah to its back. (Sorry, that's from a commercial)
  3. Since this doesn't seem to be as big on the "race" side and more about the fundraising, maybe it's a way to raise money as a team because you can contribute more than just the cost of signing up.
  4. Just to add a little something, though not much, here's a picture of me and my big brother at Kings Island when we were little. I think I'm about 3 years old here (maybe 4, I'm on the left). We later discovered that my brother was deathly afraid of heights which explains the concerned look on his face. I, on the other hand, was ready to fly.
  5. Whoa, already 1,377 people signed up. Gonna be big.
  6. I'm out of the loop. I thought Instagram was just a photo editing app, not a social media network.
  7. ^ Couch to 5K is what got me back into running. Great little program and it really works if you keep it slow and don't worry about how fast you're running. Speed will come later.
  8. I do believe it's the same idea, yeah.
  9. My wife and I are signed up.
  10. Wife and I are possibly doing it since the early bird price for non season pass holders is only $29.99 which includes admission to the park. Good deal. Not sure if you "have" to get hit with the color, but it sounds like fun to me.
  11. FYI, I emailed the person who's listed as a contact for this to see if there's a course layout available yet, but they said it's still being determined.
  12. Anyone doing this? http://www.visitkingsisland.com/article/media-center/Kings-Island-to-host-inaugural-Opening-Day-Color-Me-Pink-5k-Saturday-April-27
  13. I miss the old Amazon Falls sign with the little waterfall in it.
  14. I say that Viking Fury is not only underrated, it's the hidden gem of Kings Island. It's located in a beautiful spot and gives consistently fun rides.
  15. Obviously you don't own this shirt: http://www.amazon.com/The-Mountain-Three-Short-Sleeve/dp/B002HJ377A so you wouldn't understand.
  16. It seems like you've started off on the wrong foot here. Perhaps you thought it was cute and funny to come in here calling people losers/nerds/dorks and whatnot. It's fine if you're going to say that about yourself, but it's a bad first impression to say it about others when you're coming in looking for conversation.
  17. Sounds like it was a good time in bad weather.
  18. The last time that I went to Cedar Point was a few years ago on a Saturday during Haunt and I will never do it again. Lines were maxed out for everything, including food stalls. I swear we waited 40+ minutes in line for food that day. I think we got a ride on Maverick and on the racing horses before just calling it quits. Sounds like Sunday is the way to go. And if you're worried about not being familiar with the layout, relax. It's like a big oval. It's easier to navigate than Kings Island.
  19. You should get a Dinosaurs Alive fannypack with admission.
  20. Nooooo! Why did I read this thread? Might as well not even go now.
  21. Freak Street to me feels like the only true fear zone (based on the 2 visits I've had this year).
  22. That is from the end of the Hot Blooded show. I haven't seen the show myself, but it's made me jump a couple times while waiting for or on Diamondback. Edit: My bad, I didn't read closely. I'm not sure about explosions from the Coney Mall area. Haven't heard those before.
