Is it a $5.99 fee per pass that you buy, or for the entire transaction? I'd be buying for my wife and myself, so would that be $11.98 added to the price?

No incentives to renew. Part of the reason we didn't renew this season. But now I can get my new 2014 pass and go once this year.

I'm planning on getting a pass for next year. I hope they have that deal where you get a ticket for this year with the purchase. I've been antsy to get back to the park.

Last year's Haunt opening Friday was pretty dead, especially the farther into the night it went. I remember it being pretty windy too so the fog was not helping with the empty scare zones. It will get progressively more crowded as it gets closer to the ol' 'Ween.

I remember the first time I was in line for Outer Limits: FoF, I didn't know it was a mirror at first. I thought we had a huge queue left on the other side of the spaceship after waiting for several hours already. Until I saw someone who looked like me on the other side. Unless that was a clone.

Last summer. There was a drop, I think the second one, where you could visibly see everyone jolt as the train seemed to jump up and down really quickly. We even took a video off ride where you could see it. That was probably the worst part. But it seemed that the bottom of every hill was a jackhammer. I don't remember if it was a wheel seat or not.

The Coney Island Cyclone in New York City. I've never been on a more uncomfortable and painfully rough ride. SOB was at the top (er, bottom?) before riding the Cyclone. I bought 2 tickets so that I could ride it twice, but ended up giving the 2nd away because it was so bad. I saw the brilliance of the layout and was glad to experience it and say, "I survived", but either the upkeep is really bad, or it's just not the coaster for me. Or my wife. Or my brother. Or my brother's girlfriend. Or the other 2 people who came with us that day. All hated it.

Yeah, I believe that the tombstones were first spotted in the pictures of that section on KI's site. It will be cool if they're really planned and not just embellishments for the preview.

Yeah, I've felt the vibration on DB, but far short of "jack hammering". SOB was a jackhammer. Some people called it "intense" but it was really just a flaw.

And you complain about jack hammering on Diamondback?

Great report. Love your descriptions of the rides. Going to BGW for the first time in September and this made me more excited.

If you want the "annocment" to be more exciting, don't decode beforehand and be surprised.

Excited for this ride. I hope they really stick tombstones out along the course. Seems like someone was a little over zealous with the trees in the videos though.

I thought Gatekeeper was fun, though forgettable as a ride. It looks pretty, especially over the entrance. I'll hop on it whenever I go to CP, but will be a coaster that I don't "need" to ride.

What section of the queue will be partially covered with triangle-shaped shading cloth?

If there will be pews and tombstones, seems appropriate that it would rain. Everyone should show up in dark clothes with black umbrellas.

Despite our expectations being confirmed or shattered, I find it hard to believe that anyone on this board will refuse to ride it because it's this or that. I also find it hard to believe that if it's a solid B&M coaster that anyone will not enjoy it. Maybe you'll pine for something "more", no matter what it is, but I'm sure it will be a fun ride. I'm excited.
