I would do it at the park for 2 reasons. 1.) You get to go out into society and interact with humanity which enriches the soul and improves your interpersonal communication skills. 2.) Diamondback opening day was pretty epic in terms of crowds there early. I have some pictures and video somewhere at home of the amount of people packed in by the roped off area, waiting to be let in. Reminded me of a concert.

I just find it cool that Kings Island is so big in Denver, of all places.

Just came across an old Winterfest brochure in my basement over the weekend too, but I'm at work right now, so can't check it out.

I can't remember off the top of my head what the last Winterfest had (besides the train), but before that it was the train and the carousel and I want to say that the Smurf ride was open as well.
