I usually choose to drive the 4 hours to Cedar Point over the 45 minutes to Kings Island. I love Kings Island but I enjoy Cedar Point more. Carowinds was poo. I'm looking forward to KD this year though.

I think I was a carowinds just a few days before you all made it there. I was there the Monday before 4th of July.

I've been spending my time reading through this and other trip reports about BGW and KD. If people want to direct me towards more I'll read those too!

I'm either going to renew with tpr or join another here soon. Coaster Crew interested me until I saw them left off coaster mania. I don't know what's going on there but there is obviously some issues going on.

If you don't mind me asking how big are you and your buddy or at least how big were you at the time of the trip. I don't fit on Drop Tower or Wicked Twister I'm wondering if I'll have the same fate for Volcano or any of the other rides. Those rides mentioned are the only ones I haven't been able to fit on. I still can ride TTD and MF at Cedar Point. If you don't want to answer here feel free to private message me.

Hotel is booked and trip is planned. We are going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and then to Kings Dominion the next day. I can't wait. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips for the two parks like times to avoid certain rides or special food items I wouldn't be able to get elsewhere?

I'm not sheeple, I don't need a business to cover things up for me. Talk about lazy, if people really cared they would look into it for themselves. Another sad sign of this nation when people are too lazy to get on a computer for a few minutes and research.

Isn't it amazing how quickly uniformed people can ruin a business.

Sometimes people are over sensitive about things. I myself have become annoyed with something I'm a bit sensitive to. However, instead of complaining about it I just don't watch it.

I don't care what B&M does they will never give me that same first ride feeling that the Intamins do when they go up. I am however a person that enjoys a more intense coaster thus my two favorite coasters are Maverick and Voyage.

Is it fair to assume the same green will be used in the under the bridge section of the ride?

I think I may have found a good one to stay in just north of Richmond. Actually I've been pricing things and the KD/BGW is easily the cheapest trip.

Well we started talking more about the KD/BGW today. Any hotel recommendations or anything if we do BGW on Saturday then travel somewhat close to KD to stay for the night?

Roll em out the window to safety. All jokes aside if the fire is that intense I'm probably jumping out of a window to get away from it myself.

Everyone has helped. I really wish I could hit all four in one trip but alas I need to plan something I can do in one weekend. While doing BGW and Great Adventure would be awesome I don't want to spend that much time driving.
