Mystic Timbers Construction Progress
I would love that, but I think we're stuck with the same songs that greet us at Wal-Mart, Target, Meijer, Wendy's, and Claire's. I mean, man, they even show that music video for Bastille's Pompeii, where the guy seems to be running from something. In my head, that's me, running from that song that is everywhere I go. I loved it, during the Paramount days, when the park would play, for example, the Addams Family film suite. Heck, not too long ago, they were still using music from Raiders of the Lost Ark and Independence Day for Adventure Express and The Beast. That's why I love the Halloween Haunt so much. You get to hear music from Poltergeist, Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and some sort of electric theme that I have never been able to figure out (it might have been arranged for the park?). It just adds so much atmosphere.

What's the craziest thing you've seen at KI?
To be fair, the word "stairs" was never used in his statement regarding Millennium Force. You could argue that it was implied, but I would say it was more or less inferred.

What's the craziest thing you've seen at KI?
The craziest thing I have ever seen isn't really much. However, it did bother me. Line cutters. Hey, it happens. But one time a group of teens cut line on The Vortex, I believe. My friend complained to an employee. NOTHING HAPPENED. She later spent almost a half hour complaining to the powers that be. I wasn't in on that conversation. But from what I understand, she mostly got a standard statement, you know the bland ones written by people with zero personality, that basically translated to "thank you for your complaint, but crap happens." This was several years ago. As for the really crazy stuff, I've got nothing. Last year, I did see some teenagers running around in the woods below the The Bat's line queue. Coincidentally, that area I believe was once Lion Country Safari, which is what I sometimes think of teens at KI: wild, obnoxious animals. I just recently entered my 30s, so I guess I am transforming into a grumpy old man.

Mystic Timbers Construction Progress
That'd be cool. But I think from a financial point of view, they wouldn't even consider it as it means using a lot of power all day, every day. Plus there's the staffing, enough to keep the park in operation and generally most places offer a higher salary for night shift employees as an incentive. However, I would love it if the park had a few extra hours for 21 & up pass holders on weekend nights. Chiller temperatures. Less people in line. No teens. No children. Maybe a club scene of some sort somewhere in the park. Once again, I can dream...

Gold Pass Renewal?
I was wondering if that was new. I don't remember having to do it years prior.
-
Gold Pass Renewal?
When I renewed this year, it asked me to either upload a new photo or have a new photo taken at the park.

Halloween Haunt 2017
I would love for Tomb Raider to converted into a, let's say PG-13 version of Phantom Theater. Like make it a little scary, but not too scary and give it the track some twists, turns, and unexpected drops to give it some thrills. This, of course, is wishful thinking. But I can dream..

Which Ride Will Leave Next
It's just that they haven't really done anything to the area in a long time.

Which Ride Will Leave Next
The first time I rode it, I liked it. But I didn't ride for a long time and tried it again a couple years ago... ..And it was just PAINFUL. Honestly, I probably wouldn't miss X-Base at all, including Flight of Fear. Not to say I want those rides gone, it's just I don't like Firefox and usually forget it exists until I'm reminded, and then Flight of Fear's novelty has worn off on me.

Halloween Haunt 2017
Better yet, bring back Phantom Theater!

*If* Backlot Stunt Coaster was removed....
I have only ridden it a handful of times. I guess I have been lucky because this has only been a problem for me once.

Kings Island 2017 Discussion Thread
A new website? Interesting...

*If* Backlot Stunt Coaster was removed....
I don't dislike the ride. It is really fun. It was definitely placed in the wrong part of the park. I'm a movie guy, so the backlot setting appeals to me.

Which Ride Will Leave Next
It could use a paint job and maybe they could bring back the backwards car. But the ride's not going anywhere. I bet we'd lose The Bat/Flight Deck before we'd lose The Racer.
-
Which Ride Will Leave Next
I don't see The Racer leaving anytime soon. It has historical significance to the park.

Which Ride Will Leave Next
I agree. People first. Thread topics second. Especially on a topic like this, which I'm sure has appeared many-a-times on this forum in various forms. Back on topic, kinda, I would love to see The Crypt building either disappear or used for a dark ride.

Kings Island 2017 Discussion Thread
I'm actually considering this. Like every year, I think about getting the meal plan, but I never do. However, the price on the drink plan is easily affordable .

Which Ride Will Leave Next
I had been wondering this myself. I hope he's okay. I had just come back after a long hiatus, mostly due to an exhausting experience in a ERT thread last year.

Which Ride Will Leave Next
I've ridden maybe 3 times in my entire life. The only benefit I can see is using it as a cool down on hot days. But you don't even need to ride it for that. You just have to stand on the bridge. Even then, White Water Canyon is way more fun to get wet on.

Mystic Timbers - What's In The Shed?
Ha! That would be the ultimate product placement!
-
Will Coney Mall be Overhauled?
A ferris wheel and a nice little dark ride would be great for the area.

Mystic Timbers - What's In The Shed?
It throws apples at us. "Get out of my shed!"

Mystic Timbers - What's In The Shed?
What's in the shed? A live grizzly bear! Best of luck to you!

Which Ride Will Leave Next
I can definitely see Congo Falls going away in the not too distant future.

Kings Island Regrets?
I never rode King Cobra and since I was born in 1985, I never got to experience many of the rides that were gone by the time I was able to ride the "grown up" coasters.
