Ten Years Ago Today...
I agree with that!! I hope when we do get a Giga they go old school with King Cobra loved that ride!! As far as Power Tower over Drop Zone,I really like being able to be shot up or the free fall. Drop Zone is good just prefer the other.

I really don't care for Drop Zone. I like the Power Tower up at Cedar Point way better.

I love the look of a wooden coaster. But didn't those guys on YouTube who broke down the prints they had say steel structure or did I missunderstand them?

Both Wildfire and Lightning Rod use this style of track, it is just painted Brown not red. It's hard to see it,they cover it really well.

^^ that's not what is being used on either Wildfire or Lightning Rod

I'm not really good on knowing who or what I need to ask for. I think I'm going to go get a copy also just to have. So what office is it? And what do I need to ask exactly? lol

Never ridden a GCI. Planning a trip soon to Dollywood so will ride Thunderhead. All the GCI pov's look like great rides. I wanted Giga but will be happy with another Coaster. I just feel like RMC is best for Kings Island right now. Won't complain if it's GCI or another maker. Just feel like it's time to have one of these in the chain and Kings Island is the ideal location. Besides Kentucky Kingdom The closest one is Chicago. Just my opinion.

Just my opinion. And I feel we should be in the RMC game. I'm happy for anything new, just prefer and think it will be an RMC.

I'm a Platinum Pass holder for Cedar Fair. Live in Columbus,In. Been going to Kings Island since 79. IMO adding a RMC after Kentucky Kingdom has makes sense to me. I will go to Kentucky Kingdom maybe once a season. I was lucky and was invited to attend media day for Storm Chaser. Great Ride and the only park within a 2 hour drive with a RMC Coaster. I know those have been the craze for like 5 yrs now. Kings Island adds one? I have no reason to visit Kentucky Kingdom anymore. Also that's been my only visit there since they reopened. I've not even rode Lightning Run yet. Just my guess,no Giga? I would love to see a RMC.

Hmmm...interesting to note that several folks have mentioned Kentucky Kingdom on this thread, yet on that park's thread, it was suggested that Kings Island barely recognizes the park exists...
