Yes , the park will be experiencing an uptick due to chip cards being switched over. Your best option is using the accesso website www.visitkingsisland.com/payments or KI App to change your credit card information. If all else fails contact the park at 513-754-5700 but be patient. Its sad state of affairs when complaining about food service , and KI trying to do the best job they can to keep staffing going throughout the entire season. I know they are trying to make it a best day ever experience for everyone. Kids just cannot grasp the concept of being more and doing more. I have great hope for 2016 season ! viva Kings Island!

On two occasions in the past, I have called the park to ask a question. On both occasions, I was given incorrect information. Thus, I no longer call the park for anything. If it's during the season, you are far better off driving to the park and asking your question in person at Guest Services. They will actually take the time to research it or radio for someone in the appropriate department if necessary, whereas I feel that the call center just offers a guess if it's not a common question for which they have the answer in front of them. At least that's the feeling I got both of the times I called. With this time of year the park gives limited information since it is the off season and hard to get a hold of the personnel, when the park opens information will be readily available.

I'm aware of that. What I'm saying is that Skeleton Key does not appear to be available by itself. The listing for Fright Lane by itself does not mention Skeleton Key. Only the listing in that section for the admission-and-Fright-Lane combo mentions the inclusion of Skeleton Key. Unless this is an error, the implication is that Fright Lane does NOT include Skeleton Key UNLESS you buy it in combination with an admission ticket. Which is stupid. It appears that they have fixed said issue , Fright Lane with Skeleton Key can be purchased separate online or on the mobile app for as low as $40

This also means you get the benefits of a 2015 renewal of a free Fast Lane Plus to use during Sundays, ERT on Nov. 1st , Exclusive 2016 preview night and all the benefits of a 2015 Gold Pass.

You will need to do a rollover request. In 2016 you can pay $30 to roll it over into a 2016 pass , if you use the pass this year it will count as a 2015 season pass then you would have to pay 94.50 to renew for 2016 pass. If your going Labor Day weekend , just buy a BAF ticket for 19.99. You still come out better doing this than processing your pass for your one visit of 2015 and paying 94.50 for a 2016 renewal pass.

Just updated on the website : It has become a Labor Day tradition: Dollar Days at Kings Island. Guests visiting the park September 5-7 can enjoy hot dogs, pizza slices, blue ice cream, cotton candy, soft drinks and Sweet Spot Treats (chocolate dipped Oreos, pretzel rods, marshmallow lollipops) for only $1 each. Select games are only $1 including Rope Ladder, Plate Breaker, Bowler Roller, Ring Toss and Short Range.
