If this minimum rage increase passes through the desk of Greg Fischer with a signature I would be very surprised given his initial stance. But......based off his latest comments it appears he has backed away from the line in the sand and will let it pass. Consider me confused.

Well personally......that would be the worst use of that property. I was truly hoping for something similar to the old resort with updated accommodations. But again, this would be my personal preference even though housing may be a better fit for the economy of the area. I'm just being selfish.

That's my point. Starbucks reminds me of the corporate world (not nostalgic) while original coffee vendors remind me of a special time in my life (nostalgic). Edit : Think I'm showing my age.....nostalgic is something different for everybody.

I was there opening year. There was no Starbucks on International Street.

Hmmmm.....the lack of any news about the impending demise of a certain resort and the timing of this announcement makes me wonder.

Adventure Express is located in the Oktoberfest section. The Racer is in Coney Mall.

And at a Cedar Fair park. I have zero sympathy for those involved.....unless it's proven these two guys were just minding there own business when -bam- they were stabbed for no apparent reason. Highly unlikely. This type of douchbaggery just angers me and could possibly put an end to these type of events, or at least have adverse affects in the future. Way to ruin it for those that enjoy it and capable of acting in a civil manner.....

Lol.....there's nothing to "re-open". This would be like me picketing the local truck stop parking lot demanding an amusement park. Actually now that I think about......that would probably be a more likely scenario than any development with Geauga Lake.
