Ideas for Future Winterfest Events
Drop Tower decorated to look like "The North Pole." Open the Eiffel Tower observation deck (probably the 265' platform) to get a 360 degree birdseye view of the event. Maybe call it "Santa's Treehouse." This may not be a possibility due to the windchill and the wires that may be all over the platform for the lights.

Cedar Point changes for 2018
How old was the water tower? I've seen pictures of it from the 70s but didn't know if it was older.

Coasters for Winterfest future
Have The Racer open, but put reindeer faces on the front of the trains and call it "Reindeer Racer." They could play "Run Run Rudolph" by Chuck Berry going up the lift hill.

Blitz or RMC?
I would much rather see the Ghostrider treatment from GCI for The Racer than a hybrid conversion. Or they could wait about twenty years for Mystic to get rough then give that the treatment.

Blitz or RMC?
RMC, but a ground up topper track woodie, as I don't think any of our current woodies deserve or need the treatment; Woodstock Express is too small, The Beast is too legendary, The Racer is responsible for the coaster building boom and has too much history, and Mystic Timbers was just built. A topper track coaster would round out the wooden line up more and fill in the category of wooden coaster that was left when Son of Beast closed, or at least when it lost the vertical loop in 2007.

Will Coney Mall be Overhauled?
This is a very good looking concept for new Racer trains. I can't help but notice the similarities between the Millennium Flyer Trains and the original trains on Carowinds' Thunder Road, which were originally from Jetstream at Chicago's Riverview Park.

Will Coney Mall be Overhauled?
I know The Racer used to have an ACE landmark plaque outside the queue house, but that has since been removed. It's still labelled as a landmark on ACE's website, though. http://www.aceonline.org/CoasterAwards/?type=3

Will Coney Mall be Overhauled?
So even if it got I-boxed and received inversions, such as stalls and barrel rolls, and got renamed, it wouldn't lose its landmark status?

Will Coney Mall be Overhauled?
Part of me figured that was the case. I knew the ACE Classic status can be revoked if the trains are modified, like the two coasters mentioned, but I wasn't sure if changing the trains on the ride would disqualify the rides landmark status. But regarding changes to the ride not having an impact, is there a point when it does, such as an I-box conversion from Rocky Mountain Construction? Edit: Changed some wording

Will Coney Mall be Overhauled?
This is true. It was the final dip before the brake run. If I also remember correctly, the main reason the hill was removed was to install a new brake.

Will Coney Mall be Overhauled?
I could understand it losing the status if it got RMC'd, but a GCI retrack is basically just new wood, as well as Gravity Group retracking Rebel Yell last off season, unless they changed the layout and hills dramatically. I only asked because the coaster opened with PTC trains, which help give the ride the classic experience it has. I'll go with what SonofBaconator said above.

Will Coney Mall be Overhauled?
The Racer was the coaster that sparked public interest in roller coasters after a major drought in coaster construction, kick starting the second golden age of coasters. Many coasters wouldn'tbe around today if it weren't for The Racer. If The Racer were to receive Millennium Flyer Trains, would that hinder with its historic significance without the original Philadelphia Toboggan stock? After all, as someone mentioned, it could create a new ride experience. It probably wouldn't, however I'm not a member of ACE.

Will Coney Mall be Overhauled?
The Knotts Ghostrider rehab was why I suggested that The Racer get Millennium Flyers. The problem is whether or not Racer would lose its ACE Landmark status with new trains.

Top five things you'd like to bring back/change
Glockenspiel on Festhaus More European theming on International Street (with the instrumental playlist returning in 2018, it would be cool) Bluegrass music in Rivertown Repaint The Racer back to its patriotic color scheme Coney Mall sign

Official: WinterFest 2017
Maybe they could use the new LED lights on the Eiffel Tower cupola to illuminate the "canopy" some more. Also, I didn't know Carowinds was going to transform the Carolina Sky Tower into a tree again. Looks cool!

2018 Construction in Coney Mall
Or they could sell Tex Mex food with German ingredients; they could call them Oktoberfest Burritos and Tacos. Tortilla shell with Gliers Goetta, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese. Blondy, pipe dreaming...

Official: WinterFest 2017
I just went past there tonight. The Boo Blasters building does look to be lighting up at night with a new package.

2018 Construction in Coney Mall
From Kings Island PR's Snapchat. I can definitely see the truck in front of Emporium now. False alarm.

2018 Construction in Coney Mall
Ah, true. Trees were in the way, so it was hard to tell.

I took a screenshot of the Snap story. Do I need a specific citation in order to post it, or do I give credit to their Snapchat?

Get rid of one coaster- The Poll
That's true. Another possibility I thought of would be to add an RMC topper track wooden coaster in this location. It would really round out the park's collection of wooden roller coasters.

2018 Construction in Coney Mall
On Kings Island's official Snapchat story today, they posted a photo of the Royal Fountain ice skating rink on International Street with a giant crane in the background in the Coney Mall area.

Oktoberfest Area Facelift?
Panda could possibly be placed where Skyline is inside the Alpine lodge, Mandarin Cuisine was there for a couple of years during the Paramount/CBS years. However, Skyline seems pretty popular. Another possibility would be to add a sixth building to International Street, with a Chinese Pagoda façade. It would help enhance the theming and atmosphere on International Street, and update it to accommodate other "international" countries.

Get rid of one coaster- The Poll
I chose Backlot Stunt Coaster. The placement is one problem I agree with. Another problem is the capacity. Because the ride launches 12 people per train, the lines are always long compared to other rides in the park. The location would be perfect for a B&M dive coaster in the future, with a pathway that goes underneath, connecting Coney Mall to Rivertown.

Oktoberfest Area Facelift?
How high is the demand for German food at Kings Island? They introduced some German food in 2013, but that quietly disappeared from the menu after two seasons. If the park decides to bring back some German theming, Bavarian music would definitely be a plus. Much like how the International Street playlist enhanced the atmosphere, thematically fitting music could help Oktoberfest. Maybe something like the music from Busch Gardens Williamsburg:
