Starting to Decode 2014
Who's basing their predictions on footer shapes? You. And while Intamin may be pretty innovative, it's Bolliger and Mabilard that have invented the wing coaster, the floorless coaster, the inverted coaster, and basically rules the hyped coaster.

It's not like your just shooting down other people's ideas or anything. I mean, everyone is entitled their own opinion, right? You seem very confident that its gonna be a b and m invert, which I have nothing against that idea, as I love their coasters and someday hope to work for them, but unless you have proof that its an invert, I think there's still a good chance it could be a giga, which would be awesome.Mer, just pointin' out. I never said Kings Island's new ride was a B&M inverted coaster. Show me where I said that. This is why I don't think it's an Intamin coaster: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/27275-starting-to-decode-2014/?p=524912 Here's Intimidator 305's track support footings, notice how square the holes are compared to the track support footings of a B&M's and Kings Island's attraction? Goliath (B&M hyper) footings: Our footings are more like Goliath's than I-305's. Well, if you look at it, that's when i305 goes around a turn at high speed, so of course it's going to be different.

Shouldn't you guys be talking about that in "kic meet ups"??

Don't we all? Because then we would know what they're building!

Starting to Decode 2014
If they built this I would make the 10 hour drive to be there on opening day.

Smiler at Alton Towers does this but its a sit down. I think the center of gravity on an invert makes it tougher. You'd have to have a significant drop out of the station to pull it off, There's a park on a mountain near Maggie valley nc, and it goes out of the station, down a hill and around a turn, then goes through a loop. The park is not open right now, but is reopening in 2014 I think.

Cedar point now charging 15$ for parking!
I think Carowinds already does. Maybe not, but I think they do.

I know this is off-topic, but Screamscape just reported that they think Canada's Wonderland will get ANOTHER large coaster project for 2015. http://www.screamscape.com/html/canada_s_wonderland.htm

I want one too. There's a better space for one at Carowinds, though.I've never been there but am hoping to make a trip before the end of summer (: I think something like maverick would be a nice fit alsoI have a season pass.

Yeah, they would definitely do that so that they could build "The worlds tallest, fastest, longest floorless coaster". It seems like they do that with all of their rides. THEY get the record-breakers, and all the other parks get mediocre coasters that are 20 years old! It's a conspiracy!

Best day to visit?
Here's my list: (for Carowinds, but I'm assuming its pretty much the same there) Weekdays Good Sunday Good Friday Good, as long as there aren't a million school groups there. Saturday TERRIBLE. That's when it seems like everyone in the whole state is there!!!!!

If they didn't want people to hang around there, why wouldn't they just completely close that area off?

I've ridden Borg (now called Nighthawk) and its still a god ride, although it is a little bumpy at the end. Plus it takes about ten minutes for each train to load and unload.

Kings Island also introduced Fast Lane Plus in 2013, it includes all of the regular Fast Lane rides along with The Beast and Firehawk as extras. At Carowinds its the Intimidator and the Nighthawk.

And that's how they get ya! I've been probably 10 times so far this year, 9 fast passes and 1 really rainy day. Yeah, at Carowinds (my home park) they introduced a Fast Lane "Plus", which costs like $10 more, but gets you on the two most popular rides at the park.

Yes, I've noticed that. Perhaps he/she knows what we are getting next year. There's someone on another forum I'm on that apparently knows, but he won't tell.

Your Music Taste
There should be a heavy metal choice. I would have chosen that.

Steel Dragon 2000 receives B&M trains
I like the ones that are staggered, like Behemoth and Intimidator.
