  1. we've decided,barring an all day non stop rain, we're going ;-)
  2. If it's not too late, I'd like to add another XL for Mrs. NoChickens. Gonna make her register here to, lol. We live in Fairland IN, just a couple miles from Indiana Grand Casino, exit 109 on I-74. Maybe we can catch ya there and convoy Indyguy4KI?
  3. I picked FoF , mostly due to the queue , but I do agree some lasers and fog/ lighting effects could REALLY top it off
  4. and maybe a water tower? oh yeah, and some go-karts

    Welcome!!
  6. I'm willing to give the extra $5, wife hates white shirts, lol
  7. +1 vote for the light grey
  8. I'd like to see this one. It has a small footprint, looks cool, and is SBNO. I actualy photoshopped it onto the landscape and it would fit behind Delirium and barely takes more space than Thunder Alley did. edit link
  9. First Saturday of the Haunt 2012, to lazy to consult calendar, just leave it at far too long
  10. Overall I'd say The Beast. But it's a pretty wide open topic from year to year. This park has had so many game changing rides over the years. Kinda surprised noone has mentioned Vortex. If my memory serves correctly it was a record setter when it was built, most inversions. But my memory is questionable at best, lol. The Bat, for me, had a huge impact. So very happy I got to ride it.
  11. I'll have to agree with "DontWantToWait....", The heat wave last year was a killer.
  12. My experiences on FoF range from "OUTSTANDING!!, to "Did someone just hit me in the head with a sledgehammer?" Really hated the OTSR, much better ride without them. Always ride it when we go, just never know how we'll feel when we get off. I've heard the ride experience can be greatly affected by "wheel wear". Not a ride mechanic, but sounds feasible?
  13. Glad to hear this put to rest, absolutely love the ride.
  14. Just about anywhere, but most likely a coaster queue. Would rank them in order, but could be any of them. Less likely Firehawk and Invertigo, nothing wrong with them, just not my fav's.
  15. Why not a year round "Haunt" attraction? But do, at-least, drape it in something that blends with the Rivertown theme. No shortage of backwood horror stories. Or maybe a Beast hunt? A Perfect chance to put an animatronic body to the "Beast" . Maybe even as an indoor water ride?
  16. Planet Snoopy- The old "Fantastic Voyage"? theme song-- "those happy friends who live in my T.V......." . WOW, I am getting old, lol
  17. Back when I was in high school, I left home with a friend of mine, headed for KI. We left on a beautiful fall morning from just SE of Indy. Somewhere around Batesville IN, we ran into a HUGE thunderstorm. My 1968 Mustang, with bald L-60 tires hydroplaned in a most terrifying fashion for the next 30 miles(took 60 mins). We finally arrive at the park, to find out it was one of the "private event" days. No internet back then to check schedule.
  18. Firstly, Hello all :-) While I agree the Tower Gardens and the KI&MVRR could use a make over, the real waste of land is what has never been developed at all. As I understand this, and I am NO authority, the park owns substantial amounts of land. Land that could easily double the size of the park? Why not run a BIG coaster through the undeveloped land? Other than the obvious cost involved, of course. The largest amusement park in the midwest, could have the 2 longest coasters in the world, maybe?
